agreed. hes a genius. I cant play ff14 anymore because im stuck in stormblood and hate it but oine day ill finish the story. I hate the end game but love the game

Out of curiosity, do you remember what part? Stormblood wasn’t bad but it wasn’t really great either.

oh gosh I should remember but I dont.
theres 2 au ra clans fighting and im bringing the samurai guy to fight one of them to help doma.
I find the story so boring and walking from one part of the map to the other to talk to an npc is just meh.
it sounds like im ragging on the game but im not. I dropped BFA a long time ago and played single player games, then decided last month to buy shadowbringers and get back into ff14. like 3 days into it I was having fun and I saw wow extended experience buff and decided id level an alt… its been a few weeks now and 3 120s later. once im done leveling alts ill hop back into ff14.
I also bought ff7r but havent been in the mood for it

FF7R is a blast, and I’m one of those buzzkills who thought the original was overrated. I recommend it.

Yeah, Azim Steppe was a real slog to get through. Probably my most disliked part of Stormblood.

You’re still pretty early on then. I hope you make it through, the story in shadowbringers was really incredible imo. I get what you mean about running back and forth though.

ff7 isnt one of my favorite ff games either. I love it, but its not even in my top 20 rpgs.
ff7r seems great im just burnt out of single player rpgs currently.
I recently played divinity original sin 1, 2 pillars 1, 2 and 3/4 of pathfinder kingmaker and baldurs gate 2 enhanced

what we really need is for this poor old games devs to start getting creative again.
If I want to play FFXIV, or any other game, I shall traverse over to that venue and do so!

Hate to tell you, but WoW as a whole was copied pretty heavily from EverQuest.

It’d probably be more like Blizzard would send some devs to Squeenix to work on a collab event or Blizzard-themed raid that would be added to FFXIV.

Would be fun, wasn’t there another game that did that? An MMORPG I mean not something like Kingdom Hearts. Or was that just SE bringing other FF characters to XIV?
