Final Chicken Sandwich Tier List

I just finished having the final chicken sandwich for dinner. I’ve spent about half a year of dedicating my life to the fast food chicken arms race and here are my findings.

Some ground rules. It needs to be in the arms race meaning an obvious competitor to chickfila. Chicken pickle mayo and spicy sauce. This means while the Wendy’s chicken jalepeno popper sandwich was very good it does not count. Same with Arby’s bacon swiss honey mustard.

Both regular and spicy were consumed.

Fries were not a consideration.

1.popeyes
2. KFC
3. Burger King
4. Chikfila
5. McDonald’s (honestly disappointing we’ve seen great things in the past but they flopped here.)

You can let me know you’re thoughts but if it’s different than you are wrong. Chikfila has been over hyped and these Sandwiches prove it. Gather some taste buds and branch out.

I’m glad someone isn’t a meta follower and agrees mcdonalds chicken sandwich is highly supbar compared to the circa ~2011 Club from mcdonalds. Now that, was a slappin chicken sandwich.

Does their sandwich meet the criteria and his checkers a nationwide chain? Last time I had their chicken I almost vomited

I gotta be honest man I’ve had each of these chicken sandwiches multiple times over and over I’m gonna just leave the list final. It also has to be a new sandwich for the current nationwide competition and I don’t believe it is.

I feel breaded and grilled should have their own categories. Grilled can be really good, but not when compared to breaded, so it would be nice to see each given their respective brackets for comparison.

Edit: Also the only menu item at Checkers I approve of is their funnel cake fries. Not because they’re especially good, but just because no one serves funnel cake so it’s nice to have that option somewhere.

I also noticed that you gave Popeyes the number one spot but failed to use a capital P in their name on your list.

Makes me wonder if you took this seriously or not. Always proofread your work.

lets just say, i could make a better chicken sandwich than all these places combined
