Filling the ranks achievement bugged?

I have 22 followers at 100 yet i am 18/20 still. just tried getting some additional followers that are lvl 100 and didnt get credit towards the achievement. Anyone had this experience with obtaining this achievement after WoD? cheers

Edit: OK, so it seems u can’t recruit a lvl 100 follower for it to go towards this achievement. This was also confirmed by the GM answering my ticket.
So i recruited 2 more followers (lvl 99 and 97) and when i leveled them thru mission table to 100 i received the achievement.

This old comment at WowHead speculates about a few bugs undocumented features of the achievement:

  • Companions won’t count if they’re deactivated
  • A companion you gained already at level 100 won’t count; it has to ding 100 to count
  • Leveling a companion in a craft building may not count
  • Even if you do everything right and hold your jaw juuuust so, it may not work. Because reasons.
