FigurePrints

So a Figureprints figurine was ordered for me back in December, before Christmas, for my birthday. It is now a little over 5 months later and I still have not received it. I have attempted to contact them using the support email on their website but have gotten no response.

This is an officially licensed Blizzard product, correct? Can someone help me here?

It may be officially licensed, but I doubt Blizzard has anything to do with the manufacturing of the Figure prints.

What is a figureprints figurine?

I bet a link to whatever you ordered 5 months ago, will clear up this conundrum in about 14 seconds…

Interesting. I had looked into them a bit ago and was thinking about maybe getting one but maybe not. Curious to hear how it all turns out for you. Good luck!

It’s like a little statue of your character

Their site looks pretty out of date. Are you sure they’re still actually doing anything?

We are still in the process of upgrading our systems and as a result, characters will be limited to Characters from up to December 2017.

Figureprints is awful. Blizz needs to cut ties with them and do their own 3D printing. The quality is absolute crap (like sand paper), the customer service is poor and they’re ridiculously expensive.

I would love to get 3D models of all my characters but I would never do it through Figureprints.

That’d be pretty lame considering the payment went through. I may have to let them know that they need to do a charge back though. Just wanted to make sure before I asked them to cancel it because a little figure of a character that I’ve played for so long would be badass.

You said it was ordered for you, so someone else ordered it? Ask this person if there is a charge for it on their CC statement. And if they got a conformation email.

Yeah, my boyfriend ordered it for me and he got a confirmation email. He sent them an email a couple months ago but I just sent them another one today.

There’s a thread from the forums in Nov. 2018 implying they may not be the best company to work with, and may take a LONG time to get the figure out to you.

No idea, I’ve never heard of them.

Hope you get your figure, good luck.

I can’t say for sure either way but given that their site is way out of date and that that its been over 5 months its seems likely to me that they’re now a zombie company.

I agree. It hadn’t crossed my mind before but I’d love a figure of my character now that I think about it.

So I just checked their website again and it looks like more recent updates are on their twitter. Basically they’re saying any orders placed between Oct 2018 through Jan 19 were being worked on with an estimated ship date being mid Feb and that I would received a confirmation email when it was shipped.

Considering that never happened and that that was their last post I have no idea what to do other than wait and see. I will give it a couple more months or see if they respond to my email, whatever happens first lol. If not I guess we’ll have to do a charge back.

Thank you everyone!

I wouldn’t wait too long. We’re already two months past their estimated ship date with no updates. The longer you wait the harder it’ll be to get his (your?) bank to do a chargeback.

Best of luck with it either way.

People were talking about how it takes a super long time and they weren’t getting their figures. Perhaps the company unofficially stopped? The Blizzard copyright says 2016 on their site.

Everything I have seen about Figureprints is bad news.

They no longer update their website and they either take a long time or never send the thing.

They probably have almost no people working there and are basically dead but still running.

Find a 3D printer and get a chargeback.

Mixed reviews. I bought my first print in 2011 and it shipped within 1 month. I’m now waiting 6 months and counting for the print I ordered on 12/28/2018. I’ve emailed their support address twice with no reply. Even if I receive the print, this will be the last print I buy from that company.

My assumption is this is a small company of mostly artists that didn’t scale with demand. Their website hasn’t been updated since I used it in 2011.

My one ray of hope is that a guild mate ordered a print in 10/2018 and received it 5 months later. I assume I’m stuck behind the Christmas rush queue. Still, there’s no excuse for them to ignore customer emails.

If the website and all that is that out of date, I wouldn’t hold your breath about a direct refund from them. I would contact your bank/credit card company and try to dispute the charge.

no. i also thought they went out of business.

I think they have. I was thinking about having one made. Their site has
said they are no longer taking orders for over a year now.
