So I’ve been fairly curious about figureprints for years. They make statues of your characters, and they’ve been at it for over a decade as far as I can tell - and I have heard nothing but horror stories about them. They updated their website at some point this year so I decided to make myself a guinea pig and see if they will actually print a statue of my character and that it will arrive without damage, and at least resemble my character… somewhat. My standards going into this were very low.
I placed an order in September for my character, by the nature of this post it is obvious that I didn’t recieve anything from them - it is currently new years eve as I write this. October came around and I pestered them with emails and sent messages to them on social media. I bothered them again every 2 weeks afterwards - I have never been repsonded to by them on any platform in any capacity - not even an automated response.
Figure prints is either being run by total monkeys, or they are willingly scamming customers. I am curious to know why Blizzard has allowed them to use their IP for so long with such a long history of bad reviews.
TL;DR Figureprints has a prettier looking website now, still a total disaster with customer support. Probably scamming their customers, commission an actual artist or 3d printer to make your characters instead.

I’ve also only heard bad things about them. Glad I never ordered anything through them. I hope you do get what you ordered or a refund at the very least.

You should be able to get a refund from your credit card company.

Sounds like a valid case for a chargeback to me.

I’m pretty astonished they’re still around, tbh.

It is. I did a chargeback for 2 of them about 6 years ago.

I thought they shut down years and years ago? Pretty sure Blizzard and any other groups stopped promoting or using them. I am surprised to hear anything.
There is a character printing site that is not WoW, but can make some cute custom chars.
Pretty sure https://www.heroforge.com/ that one is a bit more friendly and still functional. Much newer and was getting updates not that long ago. A friend used them to do the cake toppers for their wedding I think. It skews towards the D&D art style though, not really WoW.
Also, just a fun site to play with even if you are not buying anything.

Charge back, like others said is your best option.
How much are figureprints now?
Because a $100 digital printer off craigslist can produce warhammer quality minis (personal experience) and it shouldn’t be too hard to turn your character model into an STL file.

I was given one as a gift back at the start of LK. So that’s… a decade ago?
As @Vincent said, the 3D Print tech has progressed so far in that time, that for what you’re charged, you could probably buy a 3D printer and make 100 statues of your chr. lol
In fairness to Figureprint and the one I have of Brock, it looks pretty good. Certainly better than the very low expectations the OP described.
But again, if I really wanted to do it in 2022, I’d just buy a printer and make my own.

I’ve heard nothing but good when it comes to Hero Forge and been wanting to get a figure from them for a while. Only reason I haven’t is because I haven’t played D&D in a very long time. I’m lucky they weren’t around back then because I can only imagine how poor I would have ended up. lol
I got mine a long time ago and was pretty happy as well.

You can customize every single bit of the character on there if you want which lets you make any race/combo you want pretty much. Including hybrids, demons, robots, etc. Even naga. There are custom sliders for every single thing - muscles, height, bust, booty, legs, etc etc.
Quite fun really…you can spend hours just playing with it trying to make something like your wow char. heh.

Oh, it’s definitely a lot of fun.
I used to send figures off to be painted and it was a lot of fun coming up with the colors I wanted. Probably why I was drawn to knights wearing tabards. lol Hero Forge just about did away with my willpower when they introduced a centaur and humanoid elephant.
IKR!!! They have added so many options in the past few years. I am down the rabbit hole myself now. Trying to make my rogue. I won’t buy it, but WILL screenshot it I suspect. That is what I do when I finish whatever I am creating. Still no glasses though

They’ve been around for much longer than a decade. I guess I’m one of the few “things came out fine in the end” stories. I bought a Figureprint of my main character back near the end of BC – so maybe in 2008? This was also when you couldn’t just order a Figureprint. They had a system to prevent an ordering backlog. You had to get in a lottery and when they had time to make more, they would pull names to decide who got to order next. (I was never in the lottery, my friend had entered and by the time they pulled her name, she didn’t have enough money to get one, so she let me pretend to be her to get the order in her place.)
It did take them a very long time (several months?) to deliver the print, though to be fair it also said that it would take a long time on the website. The first print I received had a mistake (a wrong color on the weapon), but again to be fair to them, they acknowledged the mistake and sent a new one which arrived very quickly. (I didn’t even have to return the old one, which could have been a hassle.)
My friends and I also later ordered a Figureprint as a gift for a friend in MoP it might have been? (Too long ago to remember exactly…) I don’t remember how long it took that one to arrive, but it couldn’t have been too bad or I would have remembered. His print came out perfectly.
It’s too bad so many have had poor experiences – or they’ve gone seriously downhill since I ordered so many years ago. I absolutely adore my Figureprint. It was worth every penny. I never even discarded the “incorrect” one either. I just have the incorrect one displayed in a less safe place on my computer desk. (There was a huge warning to keep them out of lots of direct sunlight and the incorrect one is sitting in a spot it does get hit by sun. The correct one I have in a place with zero sunlight hitting it ever.) It’s too bad other people can’t enjoy the same little statues of their characters.
It really is special to me.
(Edit: It is worth mentioning sometime last expansion I tried to get in touch with them because I wanted to make another print of my other very long played character. I had a question regarding one of the poses and also regarding a bug in the site’s preview display which I wanted to make sure wouldn’t wind up printing on the final Figureprint. I never got any reply from them and so I never placed the order…)

I’ve ordered a couple minis from Hero Forge, but they were superheroes, for Champions. I wouldn’t want to try to make any of my WoW characters with them. Other than having generic Humans, Elves and Orcs the art style isn’t remotely similar.
What I want is to one day get a character sketch from Woody Hearn (of GU comics fame), with my character on my Mechano-Hog, with my faithful pet riding in the side car.
