How… can you guys not see the obvious incoming problems with a quest like this after 20 years. Having giant swarms of players on like 5 mobs on low respawn rates is not and will never be fun.
Update : Go down the zone, find one of the “big lady” watchers, reset it over and over and you’ll be done in 5 minutes. Exploit bad designs.
Doesn’t help when everyone kills it and it’s apparently only one person per mob that can tap it.

Don’t make excuses for them. This is one of those quest chains where they should have known a lot of people were going to want to do, yet they do this crap where you have to share mobs if you get one in the first place. It’s a bad design.
Was kind of in a hurry to replace my 398 staff with a 418. Job done though.
Like the profession quests (before fix) and I don’t want to think about how many air elementals I’ve killed for a biweekly for team centaur.

Don’t worry. Blizzard knew there would be a problem. That is why they limited the number of people able to access the game to do the quest. The rest are getting “You have been disconnected. (WOW51900102)” which I can only assume means, “We don’t have the system resources for quests.”

I’m so tired of the Narcissistic & Political undertones within the content and players. After 15+ years Blizzard should be better in touch with why we play the game. Unfortunately, they don’t care or just don’t get it.
(Not to mention just sloppy implementations with known and repeated bugs from previous expansions. my 6 months just renewed. I play this game (since vanilla) to forget about work/ real life and stress. It’s time for me to say goodbye and find a new hobby- as of this post I’m exploring what that might be; Marial arts -seems to be a better use of my time mentally, physically and emotionally. If I want a challenge - RL offers plenty and then some (just look at our society and the news). Really Blizz- why add to the stress levels…
Absolutely horrible design. I thought they learnt this lesson but no here we are. Pure frustration aint nobody got time for this quest. Failed again devs.
This is an absolute ****show of a quest. Whoever thought this was a good idea obviously doesn’t play the game on live servers nor did they even consider testing it. Things like this are what pisses players off the most.
Recognize the mistake, fix it, and send the hotfix.
It’s worse. If you fly out of the area it resets your progress.
I love how it says “use on an elite in tyrhold” but it doesn’t work on some of the elites in tyrhold
I’ve pretty much given up on this quest for now.
Literally a problem that exists for like a day. I got mine done with no trouble at all last night.
Hmmm, I did this last night and didn’t have any issues with it. I tapped a couple of the stone guys right as someone else did and got credit. It was maybe 9pm my time and I flew around for maybe 10 minutes just landing and knocking out the stone guys and the statue ladies with little issue.
My sympathies to those of you having issues though.
Solo on a few alts due to the lack of other players in the zone.
