Does anyone know of a way to get some free time on FFXIV? The last time I played was 2019 and I’d like to give it a go again, but I would like to test things out for a few days before I drop money on a sub.

I imagine you could find better answers through Google if this is a legitimate question, which I have my suspicions that it’s not but benefit of the doubt and all.
I believe you can play FFXIV up until level 60 for free. You have access to A Realm Reborn and the first expansion. I’m gonna try the game later today. Hopefully I enjoy it better then the current state of WoW.

I don’t think I can without a sub.
It’s a legitimate question. Looking for something to do during maintenance 
I googled it but kept finding stuff about new accounts. Didn’t know if there was something else I could to to play again for a few days or whatever.
Yeah I used a free trial month back in 2019. Was hoping there was something available right now but it looks like there isn’t.
I’ll be honest, I don’t know how their free trial works. Your best bet is to just drop the money for a month (I believe it’s $12 or something if you only have/want one character) and eat the cost. And if that cost breaks bank, you could always watch some streams/gameplay instead and see if it meets your fancy.
That’s a good point. I might check out some gameplay videos to see if much has changed. Thanks!
Create a new account. If you had previously paid for or received a free month for the game you are no longer eligible for the free trial. At that point you have to create a brand new account to get the trial conditions.
