If you’re looking to get into the game it has a free trial until level 60 (current cap is 80) and will give you loads of content to get into.

Tried it. Hated it.
Cant get into the whole anime thing. I have a strong distaste for that art style in both characters and world design

But you’re playing an elf, and the pretty one at that. Surely the FFXIV art style is not that much of a leap from that? And Stormblood is the only expansion that has an Asian-y themed area. The rest is more medieval and western like.
You dont get it. Its an art stile to the game. A look to the characters and world. Anime has a specific look to both their characters and world in video games. I dont like it.
Has nothing to do with the races and story.

You may not like the style, and that’s fine- but the style is not anime. An anime style game is Genshin Impact.

One cool thing is that no matter where you are in the world, we’ll all be able to play together if we ever chose in that game.
I still can’t play WoW with a friend from the EU without buying a copy of their game or them buying a copy of mine.
