6.0 is the conclusion to the Hydaelyn Zodiark arc. 6.1 will continue on with a brand new story to follow that probably won’t feature the Ascians and Crystal Mommy.

No I’m just aware at this point complex rotations don’t equal good game play
I’ve played a variety of MMOs and none of them are made better by 10 button rotations
You just learn them as second nature after a while, I can do my rotations with my eyes closed on my rogue just going off audio queues
It doesn’t add a whole lot having 8 different buttons that all just do damage, they are basically the same button at the end of the day
wow is not great, but i’m sorry ff14 is much worse.
*if it can be good enough to take away subs from wow and create competition that’s a good thing tho.

It may’ve been better to wait for Blizzard to blunder out their Con before announcing their product.
As it stands if Blizz has something surprising like a Starcraft mmorpg with gameplay on display then they’ll win us back. Its too early to be celebrating over Activision/Blizz nonexistent corpse.
Nah, they’ll just give the 9.1 stuff for WoW, new details on Diablo 4, Overwatch 2, and first looks at all their garbage mobile games.
Do people do this? I always find the wow music to be top notch. They’ve had amazing tracks over the years.

Yeah but I mean, there are jobs with less buttons in FFXIV too. You just can’t be a cool samurai like me because you’re unwilling to learn a complex static rotation. It’s the top dps class for a reason. It all goes together very well though, and that’s what makes it good design. Not the amount of buttons, but how they relate to each other to create a cohesive rotation. If you think about it, it just makes sense.
I’m not part of any mmo community as far as I am concerned, I just enjoy the games. Currently I don’t enjoy WoW, which led me to try FFXIV, which converted me. WoW has a lot to learn from FFXIV.
I probably will eventually become an active member of the FFXIV community but for now I am just playing through the game and enjoying it a great deal. I don’t see myself coming back to WoW as a main game ever again, but if they fix the reward balance I’ll probably play it casually again. I played WoW for a very long time, and I’ve only played FFXIV since I quit shadowlands.
Every MMO community is bad now that people use discord, get used to it. It’s never going to be good again.

They didn’t say new class was necromancer. They said sage(healer) and a new melee DPS.
Yoshi P has always hinted at future classes by wearing a T-Shirt with a clue on it. His T-Shirt had a skeleton wearing a hood on it. So people are assuming necro. He also joked “what’s a necromancer?” during the presentation. Though it could be some other undead class. Also, it could have more to do with the text on the shirt, so who knows? I’m not interested in necromancers, myself. Red Mage, Dancer, and Machinist are my jam.
I hope it is soldier lol. Buster sword cloud strife based job.
