FFXIV and WoW expansions might come out the same month this year

So which one you going to priortize playing if they do?

No reason for me to not continue to play both.

WoW of course!

I’ve learned that WoW is best played at the end when all the catch-up in in place.

This was true of Legion, BfA, and SL.

That being said, I only generally have time to play one MMO at a time, so probably whichever one I’m subbed to.

Bruh no, best way to play is launch when you can level like a degenerate basement troll. THAT is the best WoW.

But understandably that’s a luxury of time some cannot afford.

I’m 100% certain that I’m going to play WoW, but there really isn’t enough information about the FF14 x-pack to really make an educated choice. The character appearances and city do look pretty nice though.

But Yoshi P said the next x-pack will be like another ARR change to the game…and I haven’t seen anything explaining what that means yet.

FFXIV, but, unless T Dubs Squared shows us something truly horrible n not good, i’ll be playing that one as well.

It pays to be gainfully employed. :sunglasses:

WoW, I don’t play FF14.

Every MMO/expansion launch is like that though, FF14 will be going through the same thing.

I also remember playing SWTOR and WildStar (RIP) at their releases, being in an MMO during their opening premiere is magical.

Probably FFXIV first, then WoW later.

It could reference that the Hydaelyn-Zodiark story will supposedly be skippable. Could also come with the ARR treatment of shortening quests/removing tedious ones and trimming up cut scenes.

Yeah, lots of possibilities. I would just be happy if they overhauled some of their older systems and made them more player friendly.

The one with the shorter log-in queue.

Looks like a showdown of epic proportions. Like, Tyson and Holyfield. Someone will lose an ear. The chances are incredible it’s an elf and that really excites me.

FFXIV first for the MSQ (so I wont be spoiled), once I do that I’ll head back to WoW for gearing etc.

Probably TWW.

XIV does the story well but everything else included is rather…bland? Both classes are just DPS and I’d rather grind my tongue on sandpaper than Dungeon as DPS in a game with very focused roles.

In the words of a wise man, it should have been Corsair.
