Not only is this doubtful as another poster pointed out, even if it was you all realize Square Enix is more than just FF14 right? In fact among the FF14 playerbase it is a well known fact that FF14 is their primary money maker, and an accepted reality that most of the money from FF14 is used to fund other projects that are struggling.

That’s a very basic mount from FF14, there’s way more complex and nicely detailed mounts like Omega. Don’t judge FF14 based on 1 mount picture you just saw.
