refugee game like many others. remember ESO guys. remember gw2. remember swtor. thx for stalling for 9.1
Remember ESO? It’s what I’m currently playing. I’m sure I’ll come back to WOW at some point but after playing it almost daily for a year & a half I was ready for a break, and there’s a bunch of stuff in ESO that I’ve never played through.
As for FF14, I tried it once a long time ago & bounced out of it pretty quickly - at the time it wasn’t what I was looking for. I tried going back for another look a couple years ago but couldn’t get back in - apparently you only get one chance to try it before buying. Strange way to market a game but I’m not wasting any time pounding on a closed door when there are so many other games out there.
Sorry to break your bubble but ESO is getting bigger every year just like FFXIV and unlike wow
If you enjoy Shadowlands in its current state, there is a very good chance you enjoyed BfA (barf). You’re not the type of player that would be interested in a game like FFXIV tbh. That game is story-driven and has much more depth than modern WoW in every aspect of the game aside from PvP. I mean there is a reason why FFXIV is the top MMORPG in the market now.
Have fun in 9.1 though!
Great, because we needed yet another topic about this.
Honestly it just seems like FFXIV-haters are just trying to cope because they’re seeing all their friends leave for FFXIV. I see more negative threads on these forums about FFXIV than anything else and it’s all the same arguments.
People can play other games and not feel guilt about not playing WoW. Imagine that.
I play both ESO and FF14. I’m enjoying both more than WoW currently. ESO is just full of rich lore and quests while I like the classes/jobs that FF14 offers.
