What’s your opinion of New World?
Personally I’ve been having a ball for a long time, I just played both games to still play with friends.
But to each their own, it’s not for everyone and that’s okay!

I was interested in trying the beta but I’m on a 2060s and not in a hurry to replace it.
I do hope when it launches that include a free trial so that I can try out the PvP.
It’s RTX 3090s, mostly EVGA, and not far reaching.
If I had a 3090, I would not risk it, for sure. But it is not bricking all nvidia gpus. It’s difficult to know what the true scope of the situation is, but the worst-case scenario atm seems to be: if you have a 3090, there’s a remote possibility it can damage or ruin your GPU.
Now that’s what I call world PVP.

When does the new game smell wear off? I’ve been subbed since release and I still enjoy it. Also, we need a lot more FFXIV threads. Please start another.

I’d like to know the same. I’ve been subbed for years now, and I still love it.
I also love their responses to players when things happen.
Example 1: A poor release of a product: “You guys don’t understand when you say it’s not fun, you just don’t know what fun is” …wait, that was Blizzard.
Let me try again:
Example 1: Your game gets popular because of new attention when you couldn’t have reasonably anticipated it: “I’m so sorry, guys, we could do better, we will do better, here’s our plans to do better, thank you so much for letting us serve you.” (Yes, that’s Yoshi-P’s response to the influx this month. I absolutely adore the guy’s response.)
