Ah. I see how they get around it then. That’s neat. Just more complex animations and whatnot, as well as other abilities being off the GCD.

what happens at 15 I havent played it in a while
More complex rotations. If you are experiencing major points of hitting the GCD constantly, you aren’t doing it correctly. Sometimes it depends on the job too. I feel like a lot of the people that complain about the speed of combat are playing the slowest jobs lol.

Yeah, well I can see why you’d like it. But honestly, for me, I just don’t really like the world and style of FFXIV. That’s probably my biggest issue. I don’t play WoW because it’s an MMO, I play WoW because it’s WoW.

There seem to be a lot of abilities on some sort of secondary GCD. I’m leveling an archer and at level 15 I can combo two different abilities. It sucks before I get that second GCD ability, but what game has interesting combat before, like, level 10?
The flow with these two cooldowns feels really good. Just don’t make the mistake I did and level a conjurer (white mage) first, they’re the arcane mages of the game, without the big booms.
MSQ takes me into, what I assume is the big city of the game. I have enough abilities for combat to flow well, and the world starts to feel like I just got out of a tutorial mode.

Heh, Red Mage and do both lol. Have to unlock it first, unfortunately.
I think they are all easy to play while leveling, game kind of ensures that.
Because bards got outclassed by dancers.
I find Dancer kind of boring. You are correct though, unfortunately.
Like I remember talking to a friend about bard and it came down to: the most optimal rotation for Bard is to sit in Limsa and play instruments while you level up Dancer.
Its just sad that Bard’s niche is just too overtaken by Dancer; and it doesnt bring enough damage to outclass Machinist (while MCH has zero utility).
It just comes down at the end of the day and seeing classes that just need something added to it to make them better (Bard, Dragoon, Scholar, and Dark Knight all come to mind here).
You had me at new expansion. Housing is supremely unimportant to me, but I can see how others would value it.

yea when I played all the housing was sold
my guild or whatever its called had a house but there wasn’t much to do there
housing isn’t important to me unless I have access to my own plot

Ill be honest me and my friends are talking about the New Classes in FF14… and unless Blizzconline brings a new class… we be taking a break to return to the world of Hydaelyn to Eorzea for a few months.
We could use a break from the daily grind now that we mostly done with the SL cool story telling… 
We will come back of course to finish WoW expansion story… but we just NEEEDZ to try the new class and play to the next great chapter in FF14 story! A Healer with *** flying attacking laser sword thingies!!! AAAAA
