when 5.2 drops next year Ruby will be part of it in a normal and EX trials

I died many a time to that weapon, to all of them really. Though I don’t play FFXIV that’s cool that they’re adding him to it. Do they plan on bringing the other weapons over as well?

I think it’s planned to be part of Shadowbringers’ “Optional Raid Series”, so most likely. Previous ones were the “Warring Triad” (inspired by the bosses of the same name in FF6) in Heavensward, and the “Four Lords” (from eastern mythology) in Stormblood.
Ruby Weapon will likely be the first, followed by Emerald Weapon and Diamond Weapon. Or at least that’s my guess on the matter.
Ultima Weapon was in ARR at the final boss of the first leveling story arc (the one guy afterwards being the post-final boss of sorts). Omega Weapon (FF8) is technically already in the game… as the Savage-only boss at the end of the Omega raid series (who is mostly inspired by his FF5 appearance). It’s a bit of a weird one there, but the general body shape starts to line up.
