yes, they stopped playing because shadowlands was terrible.
I have not met a single person who would stop playing because of scandals. They are absolutely not interested, first of all they are interested in the game itself and the gameplay.

For me, for example, a game is a way to have a good time, a fantasy world in which i can hide from the political news , work and other things.)
And when everything in this fantasy world is very boring and uninteresting, I stop playing or look for another world)

I think after shadowlands a lot of people don’t want to buy the game right away because they’re frustrated. But if they are allowed to play for a week, they may decide that this addon is worth the money, I personally liked dragonflight. In general, during the pandemic, Blizzard had a great chance to show itself, to do something cool to keep people, but they gave the 3rd and Season 4 of Shadowlands.

From what iv seen people where not buying DF and going on youtube and watching reviews of the game instead of doing the research them selves and deciding

A lot of casual players left last expansion and didn’t return. A lot of my friends are saying they won’t return til there is a new game director that is not focus on making a MMORPG into Team Fortress 2.

Why do people keep saying there’s nobody in-game? I see ppl in-game all over the place.

they don’t tell you that there is no one, it’s just that there are much fewer of them than there were before.

its because they’re more interested in dunking on blizzard than anything else. Doomsaying this games death has been a popular passtime since before it even came out.

This time they’re right for sure. All the other times were just a goof. Not this one though.
