Ferocious Bite missing constantly

Just what it says. The avg miss rate of my bite is “apparently” much much higher than any other skill or autoattacks. I can watch my auto’s score a hit 10-20x in a row and miss between 0-1 skills building to full combo but then when it comes to the finishers rip has what appears to be roughly double the chance of miss everything else does while Bite has something like 4-8x the chance. It is not uncommom for me to miss 4-6 bites right in a row on equal level mobs.

This seems intensely high. I have a 6.03% leftover chance to miss at = level according to the game itself. Which is exactly how it appears until I try to finish. At that point I avoid using Bite vs rip to avoid the cascading misses I get at times. Yes they come in packs. It’s not my imagination. When I miss a Bite I switch to Rip now because my chances of another missed bit appear to be roughly 75% after missing the first. This chain generally lasts between 3-5 misses. If the mob I am fighting does not require me to use Bite to begin with I avoid it altogether. I wish I didn’t need to worry when I select Bite that I will end up in a 6 miss chain but I have seen it go as much as 15x in a row. This 15x in a row thing is obviously not impossible with 6% miss chance the chances of it is are so low though that I should need to use finishers thousands of times to repeat it. But I certainly do not. High second digits will do fine. 25-100x I cannot repeat this same feat of odds with dice etc. The math is off.

So what are other peoples experience with this. Is this intended somehow?

Ngl, I’m leveling a druid on fairbanks and bite feels like it will have to be pressed at least twice every time i get combo points.

Wait till you are in a raid, have better # stats than any dps in the raid, and over 50% crit , And then not crit majority of your ferocious bites

I know it doesn’t work like that but damn it sucks.

does it have a positioning component? most things are better from behind.

It doesn’t.
