Feral Talent Choice

Is blood talons going to be mandatory for feral druid builds? I have no issue playing with the talent, just curious if there are other options that won’t nuke your finisher damage into the dirt.

Personally I would take Lion’s Strength over BT any day.

People throw this word around without really thinking about what it means.

Will you want to take BT to optimize your damage in PvE content? Certainly. Does playing an “optimal” talent build matter more than simply playing well with whatever you feel most comfortable with? For 95%+ of players, no.

Thanks for the quick rely!

Really? I was just considering trying out BT and seeing how that felt vs Lions. Is there some pure bleed build I’m not aware of or are we kinda forced into the bleed/bite combo?

You can take BT if you are comfortable with alternating generators every gcd. If you wanna full spam brutal slash and thrash then Lion’s Strength would be better for you.

BT probably wins out if you take Double-Clawed Rake.

I quite like the apply bleeds into 5pt Primal Wrath, swap target repeat, swap and then refresh faze. Sort of reminds me of my Affliction Warlock back in I believe Legion or BfA maybe?

In hijacking this thread (as it’s relevant), does the bonus from BT apply to Primal Wrath?

the BT will still viable until we lost the energy pool + regen we have now

Me too, imo we already have many buttons, and I do more pvp so a flat damage increase its só good.

Yes to the Rip part of Primal Wrath.
No to the Primal Wrath part of Primal Wrath.

Ah nice, thanks for the heads up. It affecting the Rip (and subsequent Talents) would be beneficial for m+?

Being completely new to Druid, does it activate from the complete 3 generators in a timeframe, or 3 working a certain time of each other?

(My Druid isn’t high enough to test myself).

It triggers when you use 3 different builders within 4 seconds.

Rake, Moonfire (if you have it), Thrash, and Shred. Basically use 3 of those in a row and you’ve got Bloodtalons.

Ahh, appreciated.

So we just wait a second or two to pool energy, then hit 3 of those and were good.

Sounds simple enough, though I’ve not tried yet (level 14 atm).

Also Yes to the Tear Open Wounds part of Primal Wrath because of the buffed Rip.
