I was looking on icy veins, but frankly I prefer asking here, the diversity of comments to me makes the forums more accurate.
so i use the most: rake, rip, thrash, brutal slash & ferocious bite
should i be using them all, one more then the others? ferocious bite the better combo point skill?
thanks.
Should check out the druid discord, Dreamgrove, all the info you’re looking for should be there. Quick google search should get you an invite link if you don’t have it already.
Are you talking single or multi-target? Your rotation can also vary depending on your talent / trait choices.
Yah what Aabay said…ur rotation may differ slightly based on azerite choices…
BUT generally you want to use TF to buff your Rip, Rake, and FB as much as possible since those are your hardest hitting abilities. (or atleast rip/rake are good damage per energy, but the actual damage is kinda meh) Shred will also hit like a truck with the WFR azerite trait.
So keep up rip and rake, shred to 5 combo points, ferocious bite at 50+ energy for the increased damage, bada bang bada boom.

Have to have thrash up first otherwise WFR trait is pointless

True…I was just giving more of a general run down.

So I looked at your Azerite Traits and Talent choices, and I’d recommend:
Single Target: Stealth > Rake > Thrash > Brutal Slash to 5 CP >Ferocious Bite. (Shred will be your filler when BrS charges are down. Maintain Thrash on the target for the buff it applies to BrS and Shred)
Multi Target: Stealth > Rake 3x > Rip > Thrash > BrS x2 > Rip > BrS > Shred to 5 cp > Ferocious Bite on a Rip Target. (BrS on cool down, Shred to fill the gap - Keep Thrash up since it’ll boost BrS on every target hit - depending on how many mobs you have and how long they’ll live, 2-3 Rips max)
Someone wanna correct my multi target with Sabertooth and BrS? I don’t play with Brutal Slash so it’s weird for me to think about and explain how to use it properly

I’ll do you one better. Lose the BS and pick up PW.

Yeah I play with PW myself.
Back in 8.1 or 8.0 I went rounds with a guy who played BrS and we determined that BrS was actually stronger.
But this late into the xpac and with secondary stats (mainly Mastery now), I think PW will have pulled ahead by now
I don’t play with Brutal Slash either. For multitarget I limit rake to 2 targets maximum. 3 or more I use Thrash and Swipe exclusively. Might be because I’m running with the Predator/Moment of Clarity combo that makes swipe shine more… so rake has less value to me in multi-target.
4+ targets, I’ll keep it at 2 Rakes since Thrash/Swipe will out damage Rake. But Rake is one of our best damage per energy abilities
So if theres 1-2-3 targets that’ll live for the duration of Rake, you bet your bottom dollar i’m going to hit all 3 with it
It’s hard to tell considering he should be going with different builds on different content. If you’re raiding, you definitely want BrS. The single target damage is much better. If you’re doing M+, I’d stick with PW.

opening rotation for ferals is regrowth>stealth>prepot>beserk>tigers fury>rake>rip>thrash>Brs/swipe till 5 cp then Ferocious bite> then shred spam and maintain rake and thrash, brs/swipe. also always use your free regrowth when you are about to use FB if you have the sabretooth talent taken.
the aoe rotation is pretty similar, keep thrash rake rip up, shred and swipe spam build 5cp by the time you are ready to use the CPs again PW should be always
ready to reapply
fights like abyssal commander I use saber tooth, wildcharge balance affinity, any cc fight depended, sotf, brs,bt, with the guardian of azeroth essence as my main, now fights like zaqul, I change out BRS for PW, and I switch from guardian of azeroth to focusing iris cause it also helps deal with the adds and helps cleave them down faster
for mythic plus depending on the week, if its tyrannical or not, switch between guardian of azeroth and focusing iris(meme beam), and always take primal wrath, find I do the best with those combos
Difference between BrS and PW is around 300 dps for me so use whatever you feel like honestly.
