From the latest simulation, we can see that 5 CPs rip only does 13% of total damage, way too low, even lower than 14% melee attack and 14% rake.
Please buff rip damage.

I do agree rip dmg does need a big buff consider we are in fact supposed to be a dot spec, but by now we should all be used to blizzards incompetence.
we are officially no longer a dot class… which makes no sense, blizzard just non stop keeps going back on their word…
first they want us to have no aoe and be ST kings but yet we had no AOE and no ST
then they want feral to be dot class and then nerf all the dots to an oblivion…
i just dont get them…
My problem is that rip, a finisher does less damage than a rake…odd. It shouldn’t tick for less than rake. I don’t mind being a bite based kitty but I’d like them to at least make rip do more.
As a 5 point finisher it should do I hefty chunk of damage. Our entire rotation should revolve around keeping the Snapshot of RIP up.

They would need to nerf bite a decent amount before they could buff Rip up to where it should be. Not that I have a problem with that.
They wouldn’t. At least not in pvp. Feral is one of the worst pvp specs atm.
I have to disagree (PvE) with logs showing people able to get 140k crit bites. Naturally not everyone will be able to do that and that number will be lower in PvP but that’s still going to be huge.
Class needs a complete overhaul, preferably by someone that knows what they are doing.
Eh…not really. Rake only does more damage than Rip based off of 1 combo point. Once you hit 2 combo points, Rip > Rake.
Rake = 737 dmg a second (over the course of 15 seconds)
Rip = 770 dmg a second (2 combo points = 12 seconds)
Rip does on average, 15% of overall damage on strictly single target. Outside of FB and auto attacks, it’s your strongest ability - keeping Rip up at all times is a priority. On multi-target fights, Rip will do more overall and becomes an even higher priority.
So it’s still the case of keeping a snapshot Rip up and rolling.
I’ve gotten 80k at 365 (no Feral azerite traits, strictly Agility/secondary stat boosting). I’d love to see a 100k + one though
Rip should also have an execute phase where in if the target is below 30% it ticks faster and deals triple the damage.
Rip would need almost 300% damage boost to catch FB. It would need a 200% damage buff just to beat auto attcks.
30% is not even close.
Sure but the rogue devs are going to toss a cutting room floor rouge spec at you. Besides the changes feral needs are changes ferals will not take.
Exactly 15% is appalling. RIP should account for at least 30% if not more for our total damage

Yeah feral needs an execute ability in a form of a dot along with a rework to bloodtalons. I just hope the devs would consider.
you do realize if they dont do what u suggested and just buff rip… for the first time in years feral might actually be useful ? might actually not be a disadvantage ? might actually beable to keep up with a stupid DH ?
I don’t believe Blizzard would just buff Rip without nerfing Bite. If they do that then ok, I’m not going to complain about it. I like Rip and it’s quite sad how little damage it does.
Our single target is already decent and just straight up buffing Rip to the point where it feels good both single target and aoe would overbuff us single target and lead to nerfs down the line anyway. Not to mention what it would do to PvP where people already complain about feral damage.
On my main Ferocious Bite does 35% of my damage, second place is melee, rake and then rip on single target. 
There is 100% an issue here.
