Why are you assuming that feral dps only ever play cat lmao. You’re so disconnected from this topic. If rogues could tank in a pinch or heal when needed, yeah I’d probably play a rogue.

Uh… no? It’s about cats in general. not just Monocats. I play bear probably 40% of the time and im the guy that made the 2k response thread.
If only this was still the point of druid in retail… “Balance” spec in the early days always seemed like it was supposed to focus on the aspect of utilizing all the tools available as a druid, particularly since all 3 druid trees had things for every role, not balancing between sun and moon bs.
The death of hybrid specs in Cata and removal of the three trees in Mists is exactly why I quit retail so long ago. It’s only gotten worse since then.

I haven’t seen much feedback at all anywhere in this thread or elsewhere about bear rage gains. It’s all been about cats.

Dude that’s an assumption you’re making entirely by yourself lol. I’ve NEVER said or implied I only play cat. I play cat AND bear, and I like to optimize BOTH of them. A LOT of ferals do. Hell our MT is bear like 90% of the time but he still likes to powershift and test his limits as cat.
Dont blame us just because you cant wrap your head around a spec that can do two roles. It seems retail has ruined you.

That’s fine. I’m primarily a bear tank on my druid. Regardless… Where were bears mentioned before you recently brought it up? The changes made by Blizzard seemed to be more focused, if not entirely focused on cats. And the WHH “meta” has nothing to do with bears.
And yet I’m the one who has been consistently saying that feral is an awesome OT in TBC and a great spec. Instead of pretending feral is a completely broken spec because of how powershifting works. Seriously go look at your own thread and how many people were threatening to quit over powershifting.
It’s like they are completely ignoring how awesome feral is over all.

Dude bears and cats are both the same spec. Any change that effects cats also effects bears because cat is PART OF THE BEAR KIT. You cant change one form without changing the spec as a whole. Are you seriously telling me you’ve NEVER used cat form to dps or farm because you’re a bear main? Again I’m addressing THIS point that YOU made:

Then just play bear, oh my god its not that hard. Some people like playing cat sometimes and they dont like playing a spec that feels broken as hell because of an unintended change.
You just refused to acknowledge that SOME PEOPLE LIKE A DIFFERENT PLAYSTYLE THAN YOU even after youve made 100 damn replies to that exact thread. I thought once blizzard came out and admitted that we were right about it being an unintended nerf you’d crawl back into the shadows, but no youre still on these forums trying to put down anyone who enjoys a spec you clearly dont. Powershifting has absolutely nothing to do with healing. How often will bear tanks shift during a fight? Especiallybin a heroic or a raid… They’d just get clapped.
I’ve been focused on the feral DPS meta through my posts. You keep bringing up crap that’s irrelevant to my point.
Just explain this point to me. How am I only focusing on one aspect if I’m Bear 40% of the time. Because I focus on feral as a WHOLE. Every aspect matters to me. Bear, cat. it’s all the same spec.

Maybe one day you will get it. Feral is both cat and bear…having half of our spec not be fun made the game half as fun. Why is this concept so hard for you? Anyway I am happy the “gimmicky” and “unintended” play style is being reverted back into the game to make my spec full again.
