Yeah, why would a tank want AE threat??
It’s a hybrid class. It shouldn’t be in the same ballpark as the non-hybrid class. You can be a healer, ranged dps, melee dps, and a tank. You should expect some trade off for that.
I also have a 25 druid, and appreciate buffs to the druid class. But there has to be a point where you realize you have it pretty good.

Hybrid tax doesn’t exist, go back to Era.
Lacerate is the Bear Form ‘bite’
Druid tanking is fine, you’re just not good at it, apparently.
All while tanking? That’s amazing!
Classic bear also just doesn’t have any interesting tools to use in form. The other rage tank Warrior has an aoe fear, disarm, a really really good version of swipe, mocking blow, etc. kinda sweet utility while also basically being a super dps.
Few new active button tools would also be great to use IN FORM as a bear.
If you insist on using lacerate over mangle then Maul is the ability you’re looking for…
Maul is not a snap-threat ability.

Lacerate beats Mangle for single target damage/threat if the target can be bled, and Maul can be used regardless because it is tied to auto attacks, not the GCD.

I’ll be honest. Half the reason I was a feral tank in classic was so I could scooch around on my butt like I had worms. I’ll welcome any buffs, but I’ll never go back to warrior.

Oh I thought like to peel a target.
Given you’re a druid and can fix any bad situations by healing threat, demo roar swipe is enough…
But if i had a rune to fix this i think something like enrage or demo roar applying Quill to effected/nearby targets causing thorn-like damage over time while you focus on other threat generation

did you even play a druid tank in classic vanilla? that combo is trash-tier for snap-threat.

…this would barely hold a mob from healing threat, let alone DPS. Our HoTs are very poor aggro tools and each tic has to actually heal and that’s split among all mobs in combat.

look at it this way… currently as a feral tank the go to rotation unless u have a bunch of excess rage which is rare at this level is ONE BUTTON all you do is spam lacerate… that is it… NO class should have a single button rotation in SoD this is not Era.

I don’t have problems holding aggro even without runes by using demo roar spam and maul then swiping on clarity procs… but if you heal through loss of threat you’ll still safely finish an encounter even if you don’t regain threat…
Later on you get tranquility which is pretty much the ultimate in resolving any threat mess
In SoD i just use cat or caster form unless it’s a boss because bear is a waste of time
So bear threat is fine because at level 25 a healer can sometimes just heal whoever has threat instead of the tank? Yeah I’m sure that’ll scale real well.
And pro tip tranquility can’t be used in bear form.

According to your complaining seems YOU are the one not very good at it. I’ve tanked every boss in vanilla, TBC, WotLK, Cataclysm, and SoD as bear with ZERO ISSUES WHATSOEVER. Learn your class before opening your mouth.
You also obviously don’t look at your abilities. If you did, you’d see the icon for Lacerate is quite clearly a bear biting.
Go figure…someone who has no idea what they’re doing on a very simple to play class cries about trolling when someone disagrees with his misinformation. Typical Alliance behavior.

TBC and on bear is totally fine and that is literally my point!! … i have stated MANY times in threads like this over the past week or so in SoD i have no problems holding threat on bosses after initial combat has started … that is not what i am talking about and if you could read you would already know that…
