Open discussion for you experienced druids. I could use some advice.
Should I go full feral down to the Crit Talent first?
Or stop at Faerie fire and get Omen of clarity?
Or Stop at Faerie fire and get Furor?
What do you guys think in terms of questing/solo grinding while killing ally that I see along the way?
This guy is going to be a 59 Twink eventually going Moonglow/ NS spec

i say go for clarity first if you plan to do more questing as you level.

I always go for 5/5 Furor first, but it’s really only necessary once you get Cat Form.
1/1 Nature’s Grasp
5/5 Furor
5/5 Ferocity
1/4 Improved Nature’s Grasp
3/5 Improved Wrath (I prefer this over 4/4 Improved Nature’s Grasp)
5/5 Natural Weapons
1/1 Omen of Clarity
3/3 Natural Shapeshifter is nice to have, but is skippable when leveling, unless you like to pause at Level X9 for some PVPing before you continue leveling. Then back down the Feral tree.

Get 5/5 Furor first–then go down and get Omen of Clarity in the Balanace tree OR you can go down the Feral tree after 5/5 Furor. Either will be fine.
I’d always go for for the movespeed in cat form first, it’s too convenient to not have. Personally I went for leader of the pack after but felt like if I had stopped at faerie fire and gone for omen I would have been better off. After omen I’d go for furor and then finish off the rest of feral tree and natural shape shifter.
My reasoning behind this is the ranged pull is such a huge boon and I think it’s worth investing into. Sure you could get out of form to pull from ranged, but then you’re spending a lot more Mana doing that. You’ll also have picked up a fat 6% crit and bonus combo point on crit, which are also pretty significant. Omen is just a cool spell and it’s very nice to get free attacks or free max rank heals. While furor is nice and shaves off a few seconds from waiting for energy, I personally feel like it can wait. If you’re tanking more often, then maybe it is worth going into furor earlier on since that rage would help you tremendously. And if you want to power shift to Regen energy then of course you’ll prioritize this more, but without heart of the wild and natural shape shifter you’ll find yourself drinking way more often.

30% cat movement speed is what you want first. I suppose you could respec once you get travel form though.

shifting back to cat form is 55% of base mana. shifting to travel form 20%, compared to blink(35% of base mana). You’re effectively paying more than what a mage would have to pay for 2 blinks every time you shift to travel form and back to cat between mobs.
That mana could be spent on healing yourself back up at over 2 healing/mana with healing touch.
So those points are really useful for grinding spread out mobs. It also helps reduce odds of getting caught off guard low on mana on pvp servers. Useless points in dungeons though.

Full feral first so you get to the move speed talent ASAP. Once you get that you go over to Balance for Natural Weapons/Omen of Clarity.
I’m a pure feral AQ bis one trick. Down the feral tree to move speed, get 5/5 furor in the restro tree, finish feral tree and put last points towards omen of clarity.
The key talent points for quicker leveling are definitely Feline Swiftness and Furor. Natural Shapeshifter and Omen are good talents, but not entirely necessary… the damage talents deeper in the Feral tree are more reliable.
I disagree , natural weapons is a 10% increase to damage.
Imo
Furor
omen + natural shapeshifter
then down the feral tree
get omen of clarity first.
Have tried several different ways now, wasted a lot of gold.
5/5 furor Then 2/3 Shapeshifting then feral tree feels the best.
At lvl 30 even with cheetah getting Omen and furor felt horrible
Furor without NS is rough for any kind of powershifting.
I’d go down feral as other stated to at least FS for cat speed and the double back to Furor > NS/OoC if you have a Wolfshead Helm ready. Furor is a great talent, but without a Wolfshead while leveling it’s not as good.
Since you’re leveling you won’t be shredding much at all. You’re using both cat and bear consistently to deal damage and negate taken damage. I’m leveling a second druid as I want a gather in BC. Here’s how I’ll be specing my alt druid 1-60. I’d swap stuff around if I was more worried about world pvp, but not worried as much. Could pick up Nature’s Grasp, Imp. Nature’s Grasp, and Natural Shapeshifter by 35 for a more pvp oriented build.
5/5 Ferocity - 10-14
4/4 Feral Instinct (imp stealth/increased threat for dungeon tanking) - 15-19
2/2 Feline Swiftness - 20-21
1/1 Feral Charge - 22
5/5 Furor - 23-27
3/3 Sharpened Claws - 28-30
3/3 Predatory Strikes - 30-33
2/2 Blood Frenzy - 34-35
1/1 Feral Faerie Fire - 36
2/2 Savage Fury - 37-38
1/2 Primal Fury - 39
5/5 Heart of the Wild - 40-44
1/1 Leader of the Pack - 45
2/2 Primal Fury - 46
1/1 Nature’s Grasp - 47
4/4 Imp. Nature’s Grasp - 48-51
3/3 Natural Shapeshifter - 52-54
5/5 Natural Weapons - 55-59
1/1 Omen of Clarity - 60

here how you lv u get a 2 hand mace put a Iron counterweight on it then gg
I have leveled 4 or 5 druids over the years, and no offense but that is not a good way to allocate your points when you are leveling.
It seems like you guys are completely adverse to re-speccing your druid as you level… well hate to break it to you but that is what you have to do.
5/5 ferocity, then get omen of clarity… forget all of that nonsense about power shifting and furor. You aint power shifting anything with a 1k mana pool killing murlocks in wetlands.
omen of clarity is a free cast on any ability.
hit mob til proc, go to caster and heal for free… moonfire or hit mob with mace, go to cat or bear for next mob and rinse and repeat. Only heal for free.
Use barkskin on cd in caster.
Druid is slow, nonstop no downtime leveling.
If you want fast kills, forget feral and hit things with a stick to proc omen of clarity and use wrath and moonfire spam.
When you hit level 30, re-spec
When you hit 40, re-spec
Re-spec at 60 if you want to heal things or go full boomtard.

Moonglow is a good pvp build fyi you dont EVER go full boomtard
Feral does plenty of damage to kill fairly quickly. Most people leveling at this point have gold to spend on gear.
I have tested this and I am at lvl 35 currently and getting omen first was the slowest. Maybe I got bad RNG but Furor feels much better to have right off.
It really depends on the server you play at tbh. if its a pvp server you might not want to spec the optimal lvling dps route but factor in that ppl will probably jump you on your way to do quests. So having utility is nice to have. I like feline swiftness because that improved speed outside adds up over time.
Furor is nice to have because of harsh situations where you need to switch bear and either charge or stun a dude without having to wait till you have the rage.
But ye omen of clarity is nice to have for that inbetween mob heal. In pvp its also great but it tends to proc during times when its not needed or hard to make use off. Rather unreliable.
Cat speed asap
If you can even get groups then down to feral faerie fire for tanking
Then Furor if pvp server
Omen of Clarity
If you’re on a pvp server I respec early 50’s to get NS. With servers being mature probably not necessary.
You go down the feral tree first and ignore the other trees til you have Leader of the Pack.
Furor is near useless during levelling as you shouldn’t be going into catform seconds before pulling, you’ll only leave cat form to heal. Omen is great, but the dps loss from not going down the feral tree isn’t worth the tradeoff for an extra claw once every few mobs.
