Blizzard can you please either bring back one of or create a new recolour of the legion mage tower feral forms. You brought back werebear, gave boomie cool tmogs in dragonflight all while feral got some lame skins

I’m not against the mage tower appearances coming back but I wouldn’t hold my breath. They didn’t bring back the challenge mode class sets in MoP remix.

Mage Tower cat form wasn’t even unique. It’s just the base Legion form with sparkles.
The more unique one for Feral came from the hidden appearance.

Yep. Sendryn is right. OP, the only reason they put the fel werebear in the 2nd iteration of mage tower was because the rigging/skeleton/model was a unique model.

During Legion, the Mage Tower awarded most specs a new weapon appearance, yet players who missed earning those still have countless other admirable weapon transmogs to collect across the whole of the game. But for Guardian druids, the Mage Tower prize was an alternate bear form with a unique silhouette and animations. There is simply nothing else like it in the game. For years, we’ve heard feedback from druid players who are frustrated that something so transformative is no longer available, and we agree.
Therefore, in Legion Timewalking, Guardian druids who complete The Highlord’s Return challenge will also receive a new fel variant of the “werebear” form.
I don’t think they’ll add them back any time soon, if at all honestly.

That’s a matter of opinion that you think the DF feral skins are lame. I have seen a few druids using them who think they are the best looking skins in the game, even more so then sparkle or fire cat.

They would have added them back with the reintroduction of the mage tower if they were ever going to add them back at all. I think their stance is pretty firm on this one, sadly.

Nah they shouldnt come back
The sabre teeth are too long. Animals that have constantly growing teeth need to keep them worn down. Sick or infirm individuals that cannot do this end up with overgrown teeth, leading to further health problems. That’s the sort of vibe those cat forms give me.
I would prefer they make something new and cooler, like an actual unique form. I’d love I werecat/werewolf form similar to the werebear. (I still don’t understand why worgen can’t just be feral in their worgen form)

Hopefully they add them back during Legion Remix and/or also add some new ones at the very least, we’re at the point where anyone that’s started in the roughly past 8-10 years is basically being told that they’re not allowed to have one of the best Feral forms that they have out of a total of like less than 10 choices, which even if you don’t like it is crazy that 10-20% of your total choices are locked out due to FOMO manipulation

There are 28 other cat forms to get besides the mage tower ones. If Corrupted Ashbringer, myriads of elite PVP sets, glad mounts, challenge mode gear/weapons and so on have not been made available, then neither will mage tower appearances.
The best thing that could happen to bear and cat druids is for Blizzard to add character customization like dracthyr have for their visage forms. Like being able to choose armor, tattoos, fur/mane color, spots or no spots or stripes or no stripes, long teeth or short teeth, claw armor etc etc.

Not counting each recolor as a different form and even counting race specific base Feral Forms as choices, there’s only 17 choices, which if you get rid of the race specific ones, drops it to 10 different choices with a couple color choices, roughly equivalent to what a single armor type gets in every single season of the game.
This is a pretty uneven comparison, you’re equating appearances in categories that have thousands of choices to one that has at best with technicalities, ~30 as you said. The one comparison that makes more sense is the Ashbringer, but even that also has an updated appearance that is still available to this day.
This would be a welcome addition, but even Dracthyr still suffer a bit from it not being enough and seeing plenty of people wish they had full transmog or just staying in Visage form now to actually have better customization opportunities.
It isn’t though. The mage tower forms and appearances were like any prestige items that have since been retired. I get what you’re trying to say but I’d be shocked if they ever bring them back. Seems like the best time for that has passed, when they added mage tower 2.0.
If they come back in a Legion Remix, it will only go for like 3 months or so and still be FOMO as you described, and they will likely still be tied to the mage tower challenge.
I just don’t see it happening, but I do hope they add character customization so players can make their druids look however they want. Add more options for boomkins too, and dracthyr as well.
