Hey y’all, I got some questions about recommended trinkets for Feral druid. I recently got the Dreadfire Vessel trinket from Denathrius and, not gonna lie, it just seems a bit…lacking(?) When glancing at other options.
At 220 Ilvl it does just under 10k damage on a 1.5 min cool down, which is less damage than the Skulker wing I got at 213 with the same cool down. With that in mind, I also have the Instructors Divine Bell (HUGE mastery proc) that I have been pairing with my Convoke for bigger bites alongside having the Niya soulbind.
Do you all think the damage is worth it to go Skulker/Dreadfire or keep one and go Bell for Convoke pairing? Does the Niya mastery increase during Convoke paired with the trinket get effected by the stat squishing at those high of levels?
I have not done any simming yet as I do not know if it would take only pairing the trinket with Convoke into account. Thanks in advance for any responses
Niya Bonus will stack with a trinket mastery bonus.
Usually the trink we use is IQD, but if you don’t have it… you’d have to sim. Divine bell loses you a lot of Agi in the long run, and that affects your non Convoke dps.
The loss of Agi is something I did not consider, sounds like I may have to do some simming and testing just to be sure. Thanks for the info!
Also to your question - yes mastery increases get impacted by the DR at higher levels but still the buffs are so massive they are worth lining up with CDs / stacking.
This is good to know as I assumed that the Niya buff and trinket would be affected for sure. I agree that those stacks are still large enough to possibly counter that but wasn’t sure exactly HOW much.
IQD+Phial/Dreadfire/Healdry/ Skulkers are all good combos. Don’t ever use Bell for anything. Always sim top gear for your character and that will always give you better answers.
