Feral druid azerite traits

I know there is blood hammer, but are some of the traits they list as good like undulating tides not really good? what to use.

What’s wrong with Undulating Tides?? It’s a fairly strong tyrant that ours out some good numbers, especially in AoE situations.

But generally:

Wild Fleshrending = Jungle Fury > Undulating Tides

Blightborne Infusion = Blood Mist = Gushing Lacerations

Overwhelming Power = Unstable Flame > Swirling Sands = Elemental Whirl

Undulating tides does not do aoe

It’s strong in general, but only if you don’t take damage. That’s the caveat.

Oh no I didn’t mean it does AoE damage. Just that it’s activated via damaging abilities. More targets hit, more chances for it to fire

Procs don’t generally work like that anymore; they just function on the hasted rppm system. Number of targets (and indeed, rate of individual hits) should have close to no effect on number of procs.

The fact that undulating tides still sims well on aoe is really more a result of the fact that feral doesn’t have any pure aoe traits.

  1. Stack as many wild flesh rending and jungle fury as possible

Pretty much this. A lot of other ferals, including myself, would say the same.

I personally like have 3x Jungle Fury, 2X Wild Flesh Rending, 1 Gushing Lacerations.

Got 3x WFR at 429 ilvl and my shred crits are juicy, at like 35k lol, which is almost as much as a non-crit FB.

what about untamed ferocity?

Believe that’s the one that reduces Berserk by .3 seconds per combo point generating attack?

Not worth it since the reduction doesn’t stack.

I only have feral as my off spec but given I dont even know what that does I would say probably not the best. If its the one that speeds up bezerk then imo its not very good since bezerk isnt a particularly strong CD anyway.

Finally online and remembered to look at my traits as I beat my head against the wall in a heroic Za’qul pug, but I’ve got 3x JF, 1 WFR, 1 undulated tides, 1 gushing laceration. Last attempt pushed 31.6k dps with a 434 ilvl with garbo trinkets (415 dice and lfr phial…so literally nothing that contributes much to raid dps). Probably not the best boss to really look at dps but meh.

I’m not overly familiar with the EP raid honestly, so I couldn’t really say anything about the fights.

But I don’t think any of the raid fights contain sustained AoE/Cleave do they? Wondering if your WFR trait wouldn’t be better off as something else. Unless the DPS gain from Shred makes it worth it in ST?

Not sure at all. I don’t raid very heavily though, and spend the majority of my time in M+ and I’m not so sure I’m interested in maintaining multiple sets for feral. ZQ has a lot of little things that buffs damage though, plus I was running the ST spec for the occasion. I usually see 25 or so on M+ bosses

For mythic+, always have 3 x Wild Fleshrending.
Additionally, you can have:
2 x Jungle Fury + 1 Blightborne,
3 x Jungle Fury,
2 x Jungle Fury + 1 Untamed Ferocity.

On a completely unrelated note, how do you all feel about predator over sabertooth on nontyrannical mythic+ weeks? I was thinking about doing this because of trash resets might be beneficial.

I still use predator over sabertooth in all M+ weeks personally. I find that the extra damage you get from the constant 15% damage boost from tiger’s fury (and extra energy of course) makes up for the damage gained from Sabertooth.

I use predator on m+ period as well. Simply because even if you take BrS you will pretty much never bite on trash because you’ll be spending your cp on rips. Even on fort weeks. The only time I’ll use sabertooth is when I’m raiding. In m+ regardless of affix I’ve noticed it to be a dps loss. The only dps talent I swap back and forth really pending on affix is BrS vs pw

I should note that I just lied, I take a different approach on bolstering or bursting weeks where you need the controlled dps. Should be obvious, but I DID say never fb…
