In the spirit of being explicit I should have said “The only PvE reward that becomes a problem is the 0.01% M+ title”, I’ll accept that.
I’ll also agree that fotm mindset poisons the minds of players into thinking that fotm matters in content where it doesn’t. Getting to 3k is a good example of this. However I’ve long since given up the idea that it’s up to us to fix a problem of Blizzard’s creation thanks to their unwillingness to tune classes based on keys at all.
I don’t think anyone can reasonably argue that Thrash and Primal Wrath shouldn’t both be buffed substantially.
Thrash hitting hard(er) would feel so nice. I remember awhile back they were hesitant to buff thrash because they didn’t want it to be mandatory in ST. Since that’s usually no longer the case, they really should take another look at its numbers.
Or they could always revert the starfall and boat nerf so we have a meta dps option. Starting to get that feathery itch again.
I touched on this a while back and it’s worth repeating.
I believe thrash needs not only a substantial buff, but an overhaul in general.
It’s damage needs to be on par with brutal strike, if not higher. To regulate this higher damage and prevent it making shred/swipe obsolete, they give it a cooldown. Essentially copy/paste of guardians version of thrash.
It’s bleed could also use a substantial buff to replace the void loosing 4pc is going to create.
None of these changes will cause any real difference in gameplay, but will buff ferals aoe damage. With scent of blood being paired with primal wrath, plus this proposed buff we will see a more consistent damage profile rather than working around cooldowns.
Its hard for me to sit around and watch people just make up lies.
