Feral Dagger Weapon Option

Can Ferals (Not familiar with Guardian but sure why not them) have dagger weapons that offer agility and stats that work for feral? So that we can transmog daggers? I mean, it was only our Legion artifact weapon type… Why not just allow feral druids access to daggers with agility and allow us to dual wield or something idk

Legion mog appearance is waiting for you.

The staff is the way, leave it be.

You can mog into legion daggers regardless of what weapon you are wielding as long as you are in feral spec

I meant to express that I want to mog more than just Legion artifact daggers :sleepy:

Likely the reason we cannot get agi daggers (and fist weapons for that matter) as drops is because we can’t dual wield and there’s no agi off-hands in the game. If you were traded a dagger or fist weapon there’s nothing stopping us from equipping it, we just wouldn’t be able to run anything in our offhand.

And yes, it is very strange that our artifact weapons for feral and guardian were dual wielding daggers and fist weapons

I feel like adding dual wield to feral and guardian would be fine at this point.

Itd let us use daggers, 1h maces and fist weapons; which are all pretty druidy (looking at broll dual wielding since cata). Agil dagger competition is only rogues at this point, fist and maces would put us against monke, rogues and enhance shaman, who’d all still have agil axes we couldnt roll on.
Doesnt seem like itd mess up loot distributions that much and would give agil daggers another class to use them.

I think Blizzard would need to allow hunters to equip maces before they would put 2H agi maces back into the game in earnest. Guardian druid, feral druid, and all monk specs all usually have fairly low representation numbers. While adding survival hunter to the mix wouldn’t skyrocket the representation, it would at least make the expected return on making a 2H agi mace better than if they’re only targeting the physical druid specs and monks. Whereas if they keep making agi staves and polearms, they get survival hunter as well.

That’s just it though. They are skimping on variation in order to minimize work. It’s not about getting the biggest bang for their buck. It’s about have more fun and more customization available.

The quick counter-point to this is that I can easily just transmog my polearm/staff into a 2-h mace and I can still collect appearances from STR maces.

Still as a Since Vanilla player I miss the huge array of item options from back in the day, even many of them were rather crap. It was just fun.

I’m surprised they haven’t added any recently considering my evoker was using a two-handed intellect sword which never existed before Dragonflight.

Get the hell off my daggers. You a druid, use a staff like all the rest of them!

Does anyone saying “oh just add dual wield” actually know how ap modifiers on abilities work? Because then they would have to balance dual wield and 2h like they do for every other class, and there is always going to be a clear winner. This clear winner might even change from patch to patch as tier sets change.
