So are the devs still gonna make us use this trash set instead of working it into something better? Feral druids are going extinct at this rate.

feral is among the top of melee damage, has several DRs, has several high skillcap high pay plays in it’s book and pairs insanely well with sv/bm/destro and fire mage which are all basically S tier
feral isn’t in danger of being disadvantaged at all

Boomkin pairs better with destro/mage/ele/spriest and jungle is weak against casters which is a lot more appealing of a spec. There is 4 feral druids above 2150 as of tuesday, debatably the squishiest melee, second weakest hybrid heals, with a very high skill cap yes but requires a lot more to even be decent compared to some other melees.

When you have to try harder to get on the same level as another spec that isn’t trying as hard, is a good thing?
Yes that means your spec is balanced. I’ve seen ferals rack up damage and CC pressure plenty of times and MOST of the time I don’t feel like I’m being unga bunga’d like im fighting a sub rogue.
Thats the issue, if my spec is balanced but others aren’t like sub rogue enh sham fire mage spriest locks, ya know the ones everyone plays. It defeats the purpose of playing the balanced spec.
Does it? If you wanna go be a FOTM chaser then go play those classes, if you don’t then keep playing the class ( I think?) you enjoy, and try to discuss what can be done to bring the overperforming specs in line.
Adding a better risk/reward ratio to Sub gameplay for example.

I love my feral druid. The issue is the FOTM isn’t a month. It’s longer than a month and they’re getting buffed in the .5. Its the flavor of the season. Complaining constantly doesn’t bring nerfs. for Example that sham Remi is a r1 enh calling for enh nerfs on a different post. They aren’t listening. We need pvp devs as responsive as the diablo 4 devs.

Whenever I have fought Axtin the spec feels broken. Especially with all your crowd control dodging the nerfs (Maim bash rake). Also cyclone is the best button in the game.
If you don’t go on a good feral they literally solo win the game.
Also casting cyclone just gives a free feral frenzy? LMAO
How good feral is just depends on how good the feral player is.
There’s nothing wrong with some specs having higher/lower skill floors than others. That’s what makes this game cool and diverse.

Since when you vs the mages that kill the hunter pets fast off cleave, the aff locks that kill everyone fast, shadowpriests currently, ele sham damage off flame shock ticks on the pets (people even botting for crazy dam last season) and boomkins. When i played jungle up to 2300 last season we struggled with casters everytime but were fine with melee.
Feral is in a good spot right now. It’s a little overshadowed by boomie being OP, but that’s a boomie problem, not a feral problem.
