Update the buff is still not on live but has been put into the ptr. zero reason not to just hotfix it into the game.

Bumping for no reason since this is the most forgotten spec to exist just delete it at this point
the supposed buff made it to ptr servers alongside the rest of the class tuning that actually made it in. So I think it’s fair to assume that it got missed on live servers.

inb4 PTR merges with live when it becomes a release candidate and reverts to current live tuning instead of PTR and the feral buffs get lost to the aether

When you say things like “other classes doing better than us in WCL lists isn’t a good enough reason for buffs” what do you think is? Generally, the specs who are underperforming the most on aggregate log data are the ones who deserve buffs. How else do you identify it?
Now with feral, it would be nice to not just see blanket buffs, but to address the significant pitfalls the spec currently has. I don’t really want to just see an aura buff (though it’s better than nothing)
In addition, I believe I’ve seen you make the argument multiple times at this point that because there are feral druids (Very small #) who have CE or show logs of them beating other “better specs” that generally means feral is okay. I’m not sure I understand the point of this logically. Is feral playable and can it do well? Yes all specs can. Is it also true that to outperform other specs you have to play feral at a higher level (or they have to play at a lower level)? Yes. So what is your argument here? That even if in general feral is worse than other specs people shouldn’t expect or want to get buffs because on occasion when played at an extremely high level it can compete? There is just no logic in that.

Got to take into consideration damage profiles too. No offense, but youre another one just looking at the overall aggregated data.
Feral is going to drop on that list due to lots of fights having short lived adds. Whereas specs like Spriest and Boomkin who excel in spread cleave will rise on such lists.
Now change it over “damage to bosses” and watch that entire rankings list flip flop.
If you can get stacked targets you can do a little cleave, but we’re still not designed for that type of fight. We’re still gonna lose out to Fury Warriors and Ret and DHs where even their ST builds have a lot of cleave.
In the past, a strategy was to let the specs who were good at cleave focus on the adds, and have the Feral focus on the boss. It was more beneficial to the group as a whole to do this. Same with Rashan from last tier. Sure drop a Tigers Fury and get a few good BrS in on the adds, but you kept 100% focused on the boss

Its because thats not my stance. People try to take a reductionist approach and thats what they come to.
Me using logs of ferals is just simply showing everyone who uses WCL rankings that they dont understand what it is they’re looking. Ive even used people in this very thread.
If Feral is supposed to be at the bottom, why are all these Ferals at the top of their respective raid groups? Im still waiting for them to figure it out on their own (some will, some wont). Referencing a WCL rankings list is pointless unless you know what it is youre looking at.
Im not against Feral getting buffs. But there has to be a reason better than “someone else does better than us” because thatll just result in a revolving door of constant buffs/nerfs that never end and never leave anyone happy (except thoae who sit on the tippy top…for 3 days until the next round of buffs because “whaa someone is better than me”). Just not a solid foundation to be asking for buffs from.
Nah, just dont have 8 hours a day to play the game like some of y’all
