Fence question

Anyone know how many are needed to go around a whole property without scaling them up???

Depends on the specific type of fencing… I understand the Waning Fence is the longest and lowest placement cost per unit length, whereas some of the fancier looking fences are shorter and/or have a higher placement cost.

I went and made / bought Pandaren walls, and apparently, it takes a whole lot of them!

Blizz can’t make anything easy huh

Yeah I think there’s room for improvement on how fences are used and how much budget they take up (not a lot, but every point of budget counts on the outdoor limits.)

FWIW, I enlarged my fences (Lordaeron fence) about 40%, proportional to the house, and sunk it down so it wouldn’t be too high to jump over.

My neighbor didn’t enlarge his fences and they look kinda wierd tbh. His house is huge in comparison.

I used 22 Waning Fences (not scaled) to surround my yard, except for the entrance.
Some of the fences overshoot the corners a bit, but I’m ok with that.

I found a way around that, kinda. If you scoot them together, line the fence posts up in a way so that they overlap each other, make two become one. It’s not a perfect fit, but it might help get you the shorter sections you need!

One thing I did with that fence on Beta was to insert a big tree trunk along the fence line and run the ends of the fences right up to it. The tree can be scaled to take up just the right amount of space to make the fences work out better. A big rock can work for that too. Another option would be to use some trellis pieces in a section for some climbing vines.

I was just about to post this!

It’d look tidier than the huge over-shoot.

Like Doc Brown says, you just have to think fourth dimensionally!

Or maybe that was for something else…
