Fellow warlocks....help!

I’m so torn on which lock to raid on…undead or orc. They’re both so dang awesome…

Well… I made both and my main is a lock dwarf xD

Try some mogs for help

Dwarf locks are cool for sure.

That’s where I’m split. There are some mogs that look AMAZING on an orc and meh on an undead then some that are the other way around.

Both have great casting animations. May just end up playing both anyway.

I think we both know only orcs and dark irons are the OG warlocks.

Isnt there an addon that lets you change character model on login?

You could be whatever you want on a whim. You can log in as Arthas or Illidan if im remembering correctly.

Edit. To be clear. Your toon race doesn’t change. The appearance only affects you. Other players still see your actual race.

Of the two, I would choose orc. They have the best shoulder armor in game, and you get the option of a hunch, or no hunch.

Undead are stuck hunched over, and have teeny tiny shoulders. They also have issues with certain helms because their heads are positioned weirdly. This is the male model of course

If you’re playing female, I’d still pick orc because they look more proportional imo

Plus, Gul’dan who is basically the king of warlocks, was an orc

Edit: Oh and also, orcs being corrupted with felblood really plays into warlocks theme. Their description literally says “empowered by demonic blood…” Which only orcs are. Undead don’t even have normal blood

It’s also bannable, unfortunately. Wouldn’t recommend the risk.

What? Why?

Its just a visual thing.

Assuming you’re talking about Tmorph/Lucid Morph (which sounds like you are) the process of using it involves injecting the code into the game’s files which can trigger Blizz’s hack detection program Warden. Even though it’s completely harmless it’s technically a hack and Blizz has said not to do it since they don’t feel like dealing with people crying that their accounts got swatted.

There’s no guarantee that your account will get flagged but realistically you probably will over a long enough period of time.
Ultimately it’s on you to decide whether it’s worth the risk.

One thing to consider is that you will be able to swap your gender around at the barbershop in Shadowlands. So don’t forget to consider the female models too. It might be something that could give you that little shove in one direction or the other.

For example, Male Orcs don’t look great on Horses, but Females look fine on them.

I always have a moment of pity when I see a poor horse having to carry a giant male orc around

Remember that scene in the movie where durotan steals the horse. Now that horse I pity. Movie orcs were like 9 feet tall. That poor horse would need to be outfitted with leg mechanization just to support the weight.
