Fell off the Skyfire

I fell of the Skyfire in Stormwind Harbor and can’t get back on the boat. I am not able to fly yet. Help!

That’s a pretty rough pickle.

Your only viable way around that is probably going to be to party up with a friend who has a 2-seat flying mount, party sync and have them fly you back up to the Skyfire.

You otherwise won’t learn flying until 30, and getting there without being able to continue your main quest chain will be rough.

Ask in chat if someone has a 2 seater mount to give you a lift. I’ve flown some stranger around to pick up a couple flight points in WoD. Someone is sure to help.

Isn’t there an individual underneath it that can port you back up?

Is this to start the MoP content? Just delete the quest to start it and pick up the quest again in front of the Keep.

I think, if I remember right, you can actually go back to Stormwind Keep and by the big fountain of Varian there’s an npc that will fly you up there. I know there was one there when I started the MoP content and didn’t have flying, so hopefully they’re still there.

The NPC that sends you up there should do it again or there might be a pad nearby to port you up near the ship.

So the quest is Greymann’s Gambit and he’s on the Skyfire.

Classic Alliance. Always hurting themselves!

In reality, you should be able to talk to the npc again.

Well… if you can’t fly yet, how did you get on it in the first place?

Only for the Jade Forest Skyfire intro for MoP… they fell off the Skyfire in Stormwind… which means Legion Intro which was designed for characters level 100 and up who already had flying. So no way back up.

Broken Shore scenario where Varian dies ends with the Alliance Player aboard the Skyfire in Stormwind Harbor. You have to do a turn-in, then pick-up from Genn then fly to Stormwind Keep to deliver Varian’s letter to Anduin.

Trouble is… that quest chain phases all of Stormwind out, so they’d need party sync and someone with a 2-seater to help them back aboard.

Go back to Dalaran and take the portal again?

Yikes I would not like to be in that situation.

Port back to Dalaran and use the portal they give you to begin the quest again, it’s in The Violet Citadel
