Hello all. I have been looking for over a half hour and decided to just post my question here. When was the felguard minion first put into WoW? A friend says that it was in vanilla for over a year before BC came out. I believe it was the patch just before BC.

You are correct. It was introduced with TBC so came with the pre-patch for it.
It’s been around since Vanilla. They used to be in the Demon Fall Canyon and around The Dark Portal in Blasted Lands during Vanilla. They were fun to enslave back then haha
Iirc it was added in as the final talent in the demonology tree for TBC talent additions / changes. Might be mistaken, as I was destro at the time.
