Seriously why not? The days of restricting legendary transmogs on players are long gone, so why does this restriction still exist on pets?
I’ve had this mace on my warlock since Cataclysm, so please let my felguard equip it already blizzard!!!

You need to train your Felguard in the Two-Handed Mace weapon skill.

Lol I once saw a Felguard with Corrupted Ashbringer, way back in Wrath.
I’m sure that Warlock made everyone that saw his pet, salty lol.
I was honestly impressed as well. Dude was probably holding that sword forever lol.

I’ll never not laugh at seeing a Felguard using a legendary/epic weapon that the Warlock can’t ever use.
It’s like having a pet warrior.

Back when I mained a warlock, if we were wiping on a farm boss for some reason, I would make my felguard use a training sword.

I saw a pretty funny video for classic TBC, the final week before WOTLK classic launches, a pug raid gets put together by a streamer and a warlock won the role on corrupted ashbringer.
The warlock said he was keeping it for classic Cata/MOP and the streamer was beyond lost because he had no idea felguards could equip 2h melee weapons that are in the warlock bag.
Needless to say all of the melee in the raid were beyond upset, but it was free roll lol.
It’s sad that atiesh & corrupted ashbringer or unobtainable, hopefully they come back one day.

Pretty sure it was also one of the last runs before it closed, so that Warlock will make history once MoP comes.
I’ve been very basic with my Felguard Az-barash. He holding yellow emerald dream weapon.

They used to be able to use it, I’ve been waiting for this change to be reverted for a while.

‘Your Felguard will equip a random two-handed axe, mace, sword, or polearm from your backpack.
Sulfuras is a 2H mace, so it mace sense that Warlocks should be able to use them.

Yah the only reason the restriction ever existed dates back to the original introduction of transmogrification. Back then blizzard restricted players from transmogrification of legendaries on gear presumably because they feared everyone would be running around with thunderfury.
Many years and expansions later the restriction for players got removed, but the felguard glyph sadly got overlooked is all I can surmise.

Which is hilarious cause I can count on one hand the amount of legendaries I’ve seen mogged since they added the ability. And they were all warglaives.
