As a mage, so far this phase, I have gotten 1 scroll of Spatial Mending from Comprehension Charms to open one, and I’ve now used charms on over 50 scrolls. So I just gotta keep going.
On a similar note, I’ve also only gotten one scroll of Geomancy, which I need for a rune, and it’s not tradable but priests also need it.
And Warlocks get an item priest need for a rune that isn’t tradable from Fel Tears.
But hey, if the warlock is lucky they can get a recipe to make scrolls to sell for 2-5g each and some dummy who wants their runes (me) will buy them to close over 20 tears and still see 0 Worldcore Fragments.
In general actually, both of these mechanics are dumb. I’m annoyed as it is but for priests this seems actually toxic.
Who in their right mind designed this?

i’ve seen 1 fel tear since p3 dropped. The real strat is to just afk at crystal and mooch off someone else
Finding them isn’t my issue, it’s that I need either Geomancy scrolls, which I have seen 1 of in now 66 mage scrolls (i am buying every scroll posted under 1g), or I need the Worldcore Fragments from these.
I have reached the conclusion that Worldcore Fragments either are only obtainable by the Imps going into the tear (via warlock) or are super rare.
That said, my Geomancy scrolls bind to me, and Worldcore Fragments bind on pickup also. So a priest has no way to get this rune without outside help whatsoever. So if I’m struggling despite having a way to get them, I feel worse for them lol.
From running in circles, it looks like they have set spawn locations. WoWtavern has approximate locations.
In saying that I’ve gotten 1 fragment out of 8 or so portals and using 5 scrolls.
Warlock discord says the ley-crystal creature can be done in a raid group, so once you get lucky with one, start spamming for others with 1 also.
