I spent some time playing a DH in the beta, and I did enjoy it. Fel-scarred feels very similar to the current iteration DH, but what are everyone’s thoughts on which of the two hero specs you plan on playing? Reaver seems good, too.
Which one will you choose for your Havoc DH in TWW?
If the tuning is equal, I’d lean towards Fel-Scarred myself, but Aldrachi Reaver has some pretty cool stuff in there too, and I think it’s performing better at the moment.
Tuning is very bad for Fel-scarred right now. AR has the problem of being too hard in M+ when played optimally and too easy in ST when played optimally.
Fel scarred is just bad. Like 40% behind in dps compared to Reaver. Does tank level damage.
AR is overly complex and requires you to throw glaive in your rotation. FS is thematically a cool idea but has none of the visual changes you’d expect. It also performs a lot worse than AR overall.
There is nothing interesting at all in either tree. Neither of them excite me in any way for this expac. Ill play whatever gives bigger numbers.
If you are looking to play a viable DPS build in any setting, you don’t really have a choice.
If i could choose to keep my current 4piece set bonus i would take it over either hero tree.
Yup one is good the other does tank level damage
It seems Fel-Scarred received huge buffs in new beta build today. Will wait for sims, I’m hopeful but … yea haha
Yeah the buffs to Fel Scarred look fairly large. It’ll be interesting to see how it sims to AR. AR still needs a rework but if FS is on-par I’ll just play that until they rework AR.
It will be interesting to see if this tips the scales. I heard that there is a bug with the reaver buff were DHs can over write another’s buff.
In single target, low mover AR still sims WAY ahead of best possible FS build. In AOE, FS was already very good, and it’s even better now
Are we holding out hope that FS gets a single target buff? Or am I stuck throwing glaives in PVP 
Fel scarred is bland.
Reaver has more potential, but it overcomplicates a bit.
I like bland. DH to me is simple and effective at dealing damage. PvP is complicated enough as it is, I want a bland spec that pumps damage.
I don’t like bland.
Then you can choose a spec with sigils, movement dependent abilities and the AR hero talents.
I want something different from you and should be able to choose that.
Maybe FS for M+ and AR for raid.
FS is bland for Havoc but amazing for VDH. Dramatic increase to uptime on meta will do wonders for our tankiness.
