“/targetlasttarget” macro wont re-target the hunter when they use feign death, since when is this a thing? is a bug? or is just intended retarded gameplay? no wonder why the game is completely dead, if one of the most op classes in arena are the brainless BM with 70% of their damage being pet damage, unslowable, untargetable and with a 2 button rotation …
Sounds like a L2play issue.
Weird complaint tbh. Should stick to complaining about Craven (broken) or BM dmg (broken) tbh.
You seem really mad bro… just take a deep breath and step back for a bit.
Does targetlast still work for you in general vs nonhunters? Not sure what would have broke it, seems weird that it did start happening.
In arena I think your best work around is just to use arena targetting macros instead, it’ll be more reliable but I get why you want the targetlast still, it has it’s advantages
For a duel you’d just have to manually make it target that persons name but that’s unreliable (if they have the same name as their pet)
Holy crap you’re alive! But yes I agree nerf rets!
Just use target arena 1/2/3…
I’m still puzzled why craven doesnt proc UA backlash but its whatevs at this point
There is many ways to counter this issue.
One is using arena target macros instead of targetlasttarget macros.
I personally think this is not an issue, and FD and craven are a non-issue in this regard as well
I think because it “removes” negative effects, it doesn’t dispel them like survival tactics
Yeah this, the removal on craven is basically like same effect as iceblock/bubble removal
Craven also has like a super mini window too where you can remove dispellable CCs on yourself with it (so effectively meld a coil). I’ve done it on things like Hoj’s before but it requires insane luck lmao. Doesn’t work with survival tactics magic dispel though
I mean I understand if you take the wording literally, then sure, although dispel and remove are essentially the same thing unless you’re a lawyer
That being said, I’m not so concerned with how it is coded as much as the way it actually works, in that sense craven should proc any backlash
I don’t think the comparison is that valid, although sure the effect is the same
bubble and block do not only remove everything but also have a damage immunity component, so any backlash is voided anyway
craven does not provide that…
No what I mean is that’s how it is coded, as a removal and not a dispel
Craven does not dispel, it removes the effects
I think the reasoning it was coded that way is so that if you want craven to remove dots you’re not just needing to take Survival Tactics (which does the same thing for magic dots anyways). So that you wouldn’t need to take the talent w/o needing to give the ability a dmg reduction effect
Not necessarily that it feels fair for dot classes (personally feels weird that hunters have become more focused on not being weak to dots anymore while losing their strengths in return, I’m a fan of big strengths/big weaknesses etc.)
Funny enough you necessarily use Survival Tactics anyways like 99% of the time
Its nice knowing I’m not the only one feeling this.
