Why does it feel so dead this time around? Last time there were so many people waiting for the world buffs, it blew my mind. This time it feels dead, well at least compared to 2019 and last hardcore release. Do they have too many layers running?

I guess I will just speak for myself.
This is effectively 2019 being released again.
I played that expansion from start to end as an Alliance Palladin and LOVED it.
I’ve now started an undead priest to see the horde side, and I’ve only played a couple days.
I do plan to reach level 60, but I may even stop there. I think many people were like myself in 2019: we have NEVER played classic - EVER.
So this time, many people are probably asking: Again?
That’s not quite the same pull as the “first time experience”, but I think it’s smart keeping it to one server. The community will likely become more sociable and nitche as a result, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

Why?
IT WAS COVID AND WE WERE IN QUARANTINE.
I really don’t think you can underappreciate the fact it was released during covid.

You realize that the server is 8 days old right?
Nobody is hanging around waiting for buffs in SW because…
- They’re still out levelling.
- There are only like 7 60’s total at this point.
- Nobody has downed Onyxia yet. No buffs.
- It’s Thanksgiving.

Its the way they have layers set up with not enough players per layer.
how come i have massive competition with any major quest spot currently in desolace because tagging tigers and panthers in STV is so hard it’s not worth the exp per hour.
layers are fine imo

You know how it is on Whitemane with every leveling push wave. We have wars over mobs in STV for days.
