Why is it that we don’t get a satisfaction guarantee for in-game services like faction and realm changes? Recently during the sale prior to the one happening around the 4th of July. I purchased some faction and realm changes. Being that idiot that I am I kept buying them as singles rather than the bulk option. That stung, but that was my own stupidity. Now I’m seeing these new customizations coming out for Draenei allowing them to be Eredar, and also seeing the warlock class get expanded so all of this factors into how much I’m really annoyed that we don’t even get a three or six month window to change our minds. I’ve been playing this game for the most part since 2007, and I’ll probably never quit completely. Right now though I’m pretty annoyed that my money was just taken, and I’m completely miserable in my new situation.
Buyer’s remorse. It happens.
You can learn from this experience, or repeat it.
Choice is yours.
I don’t really think we need a 3-month window to undo these services when it asks you several times if you’re sure.
There’s always going to be something new around the corner. Maybe it’s time to make an alt to explore those sorts of customizations instead of paying for a transfer or a race change.
wait waht, wtah is this? hatw?
Don’t keep buying those. It’s super easy right now to get to cap and get into content. With blizzard taking all the demon skins away I just rerolled mine as a goat. Stings less.
I came back from not having played since the very end of Legion. I had no guild and no friends and the realm I was on is dead. I paid for three realm transfers during one sale and then three more during another.
After a while, I decided to look for a guild. I posted in guild recruitment instead of in my realm’s group and I got some invites. One of them was from a really cool guild that seemed like it would be a perfect fit, so far it has been, but it meant paying for two more transfers at full price plus more to come.
It sucks, but that’s life.
Anything you do in WoW you risk it to be totally irrelevant come the next patch. Always keep that in mind.
I understand the frustration.
At the end of shadowlands i changed what class i main and could not decide on what race or faction to be.
Over a period of lile 9 months i must have spent hundreds on faction changes and realm transfers. (All on the same character)
Sometimes even changing back to what i was as soon as the 3 day cool down was over.
But you and i both got what we asked and paid for.
Its not on blizzard to fix our own mistakes. Especially not months later.
I hear you. Making an Alt is a pain just so you can take advantage of this.
At least we’ll get accountwide rep… one day, as per Ion. Maybe currencies too… That will make it better to have Alts.
LOL at this.
The entitlement is real. However since you know what the problems are with the first statement then complaining about it isn’t going to do anything. Just take the L and move on or make new characters and stop moving your characters completely.
Blizzard give me my monies and free moves because i get upset when things change and i don’t pay attention to detail. You can’t make this stuff up.
I doubt it is entitlement.
I’m seeing a mix of impulse control problem, panic, then sadness.
As I said earlier; buyer’s remorse.
you want a 6 month grace period on faction changes in case you change your mind?
are you serious?
It not even alot of money and it prompts you repeatedly. Non issue.
I’m going to go ahead and guess that yes, OP is serious.
I looked at this sandwich.
I ate this sandwich.
But I’m not satified.
Money back please?
giggles incessantly
Also: I love your name!
Your money was not taken. You paid for a service, and that exact service was provided to you.
Clearly he was strongarmed and robbed here… Call the cops pronto!
You have three days to request a refund.
