Only IF they get into a raid in the first place, in which case the Retribution Paladins, Frost DKs, Blood DKs, Unholy DKs will have preference as they can bring more to the table now that Rallying Cry has been nerfed into obsolescence…

A legendary is nothing to get excited about, they aren’t like how they were in the past. Legendaries from Hand of Rag in classic all the way up to fangs of the father in Cata put you over every other class by a decent margin, the everyone gets a legendary from Mop up until SL where legendaries balance around the class to enhance the rotation. The DF legendaries now and going forward does neither, classes that get these special items will still be balanced around the hierarchy of specs, where Blizzard plays favorites with their week to week tuning.

Does anyone look at a dev evoker with the legendary being any more powerful that any other dps? No. Does a preservation evokers with the legendary do any better healing any other class? No. If by some accident a warrior ends up being at the top of the list some 2 months into the tier because a bunch of them got the legendary does anyone honestly think that Blizzard won’t be throwing out a bunch of 15% aura nerfs?

Getting a legendary dumped on you on any given tier in the current class balance environment just creates more work for the classes cursed with it.

If the axe is anything like the Evoker staff I’m probably screwed, since none of my Evoker friends have the staff even now. My poor M+ Pevoker, especially, doesn’t have it, and has been clearing heroic Sark every week since it could drop.

Do we need one though?

I love how my warrior plays currently. All 3 specs feel really good to me and I switch between them at will without any issues.

Is it just a power variance or buff you want?

Prot feels amazing to play rotationally/priority driven. Fury feels furious and unrelenting. Arms feels like a methodical blademaster to me with precise deathblows.

Definitely this. Felt real good as a S1 hunter being tuned under the assumption you’re using a rare weapon from the last boss of the tier…and never having said weapon drop for you lol. It’s garbage design and needs to go.

Utility. We have none. DPS is fine. I like protection spec however we suffer from the same issues since Shadowlands, and they’ve never been addressed.

What overhaul does warrior need? I thought compared to rogue warrior was better talent wise

What else are you looking for that would make sense for Warrior?

Protection crutches on a tier set maybe too much (though there’s an odd 2/2 case for ST).

Fury has bad ST, but doesn’t have to all-in their talents to cleave, but hitting WW every 5th GCD, and having the worst target cap in the game, still, is awful to play with.

Arms talents are still bad, imo, having to choose between cleave and ST to a large detriment to the potential of the other.

Overly niche utility for the DPS specs; taking Shockwave obliterates our DPS.

10.2 technically cuts down Arms’s survival a lot by taking Ignore Pain out of the general rotation, but the rage economy is not changed, so it’s more of a gigantic DPS nerf.

BUT DON’T WORRY GUYS: SHINY NEW 2H YOU WANT IS ORANGE INSTEAD OF PURPLE THIS TIME!

I dunno, man. Feels like the dark times of SL 9.0 are coming back.

Are you talking about battle shout? that’s 5% AP buff. Intervene is trash. It’s great for mobility but if you’re tanking you are gonna train mobs to the person you are saving and kill em.

Majority consensus is Bloodlust is a no brainer for warriors, or a battle standard/flag of some kind. I mean they are baselining DH stun where we have to pay for stormbolt. They are giving rogue AOE stun. Our mez/incapacitate is weak and also costs us dps talents to get as does our slows. They need to make intim shout, bloodrage, stormbolt, thunderclap, piercing howl, all baseline, and then add bloodlust, maybe aoe silence, or have slam actually allow us to slam a mob into other mobs.

All of that would be overkill.

I could see Banner (Crit dmg buff) baseline or possibly an AoE high CD interrupt like many bosses have.

I don’t believe we need BL.

I mean, DH and Rogues are getting all that stuff baseline so I dunno if it’s really overkill to ask for the stuff we already had back in the day before they went with these talent trees.

Skull Banner showed up in the DF beta, but was removed without explanation. We literally cannot have nice things, and we’re not told why.
