I think it’d be cool if we got a mount questline where we feed a duck a bunch of corn, bird seed, yada yada and after a week of feeding, it becomes our own mount.

I don’t think this will happen, highly inappropriate. Especially for Canadians.
The new animation for inscription milling is already evocative enough of “distributing some free literature”.
But sure as God’s got sandals it sure beats fightin’ dudes with treasure trails.
Well you’d never get your mount. Ducks and the like cannot digest ¾ of the stuff we feed them.
Plumping them up for a week with bread would just lead to a constipated death

In Valheim, you can hatch eggs to get chickens and then cook them into delicious meals.
I know this is only vaguely related, but it’s hard to say how much a random poster really wants to interact with chickens in a video game, so…
We could feed them cheese and quackers.
