I have an Enraged Kodo as a pet and can’t figure out what to feed him at level 80. One of the foods listed is fungus and Mycobloom is a fungus in the War Within but the pet refuses to eat it cooked or raw. It’s not a game breaker - but I like to feed them after a fight if they have lost health rather than use my spell that I can use during combat that has a 2 minute cooldown.
Any advice is welcome!
Feeding a hunter pet in The War Within? I haven’t had to feed my pets in years. I don’t think they “like” any food anymore.
Yeah… I remember when you had to feed them for “happiness”. Glad that’s gone. I feed my cat basically beef and it heals him up. Just looking for in between fight food for the Kodo.
You press mend pet after a fight, pet healed to full. Gg
Petopia lists bread, cheese, fruit and fungus but you already tried fungus. I’m trying to think if there are any of the others available from maybe open world or the cooking supplies vendor at the Dornogal inn. 
Yep… I don’t believe “mend pet” is an option. If a pet dies you can “revive” them which is rez for pets but not a heal… I will try it though.
“Mend pet” is hiding in your hunter spells under a pop out called “Pet Utility.” It has a 10 second cool down. It’s all I use. (But now I’m curious to feed my cats all the Basically Beef I seem to accumulate.)

have a macro, this will save you a keybinding by making so your mend pet turns into revive pet when your pet is dead

You can still feed pets. It’s for RP reasons, but also feeding them replenishes their health to full instead of waiting on Mend Pet.

As expensive as food is to create, especially feasts and hearty meals, I never end up with extra!
I think certain pet types still only eat specific foods? I haven’t thought about feed pet since it was no longer required tbh I know it heals but I normally just hit mend pet lol
