[Feedback]: The Datamined Nightelf Heritage Armor Is Really Bad

Blizzard, You Guys have to stop doing these two different Heritage Armor between two different World of Warcraft races and trying to project which One looks better Community?

The female Nightelf Heritage Armor doesn’t even remotely look like Tyrande Whisperwind:

Heritage Armor is SUPPOSED to look like the Warcraft 3 Hero Armor that We could never acquire and wear, like The Lich King and Frostmourne

Night Elves have always been about the (Un)seen Wisps of the Forest, wielding Ranger Bows and Wearing Quivers, Cloaks, and Hoods, so naturally the three Windrunner Sisters should be the Artwork Modeling build for the Night Elf Heritage Armor

The Undead Heritage Armor looks a lot more like Sylvanas Windrunner and yet, once again, like the Orc Heritage Armor, You Guys are releasing a very generic out washed Heritage Armor for the Night Elves

The Playerbase doesn’t want some “new” transmog Armor, and just slap stick It with a Title called: “Heritage Armor” - there’s Nothing to inherent from Hero NPCs, like an Heirloom that was passed down from the War of the Ancients

Heritage Armor is an opportunity to: “WoW!” the Customer, by providing cool looks, We want that, and to innovate by trying Something Different

-New and Unique Hunter pet comes with It, option to transmog the animal and even ride It

-New Druid forms for Feral: Tree Ent and Furbog, Balance gets a Deer Dryad

-Acquiring this Heritage Armor set grants unique Druid quests and abilities such as yellow " ! " quests that are randomly appearing above the Heads of Critters all around Azeroth, Seeing new paw foot prints that weren’t there before, and tracking with Unique Sents, even an AFK and Pee marking territory, that just indicates when the leg lifts up

-The Headless Horseman helm had the Classic laugh, and the Helmet for the Nightelf Heritage Armor could have Illidan’s voice

What is and what isn’t Heritage Armor that never gets released and finally manifests Itself into finally becoming available?

The Traders Post had a Warden Set that LOOKED like Meiv Shadowsong

The only problem with that is that You Guys skimped out and didn’t give Us Her giant War Glaive which could include a Poison Dagger explosive and Knives like throwing Snowballs

Forums would be :fire: if NE heritage armor was based off Sylvanas.

They weren’t even night elves. How does that make any sense?

OPs idea: “Let’s celebrate the Night Elf heritage by modeling their set after high elves.”

Yes, naturally the Night Elf heritage armor sets should be modeled after the Windrunner sisters…who were…High Elves. Makes total sense.

Blood elves got not 1, but 2, and neither was based on the iconic Blood mage look. If anything it was based on the Spellbreaker unit, and the second one…nothing specific actually. You can take the second one if you want.

Heck we see now they actually made the Blood elf Blood mage look as a neutral concept for all mage and are selling it on the trading post….

So yeah…not based on the actual heroes.

So heritage doesn’t matter then, whether they’re blood elves or high elves or night elves, they’re all just elves? We should really just make night elf heritage armor look like trolls since they’re descendants.

But… Night Elves and Thalassian Elves are actually significantly different. Biologically and culturally, the two are leagues apart. It makes no sense for Night Elf armor to be based off of the Windrunner trio, especially not the one that was responsible for the order that killed Teldrassil.

Your not wrong. We gave over a months worth of feedback on the Worgen HA armor and it was all ignored. Personally for my DH till she can be a Worgen I would love the new Elf look for her. But ya HA sets feedback gets ignored.

You have to hand it to the artists they really do a good job of giving the gear a better look with what they have. But yeah I’d never use that armor.

I love getting all the heritage sets, and both of those are pretty bad. :slightly_frowning_face: But my main is human so I was really disappointed with the human armor. It could not be any more basic, but maybe that’s what they were going for in a fantasy game - sending the message, “Hey, humans are basic! Play something more interesting.”

Looks good to me, all the heritage armours have a niche audience. Most players will use them for a hot minute and then go back to their norm.

Lol, I feel so called out. I love getting them all and then I’m like, “Ahhh… … … …ok, back to something else.”

I do like seeing them all dressed up on my character select page, like my little doll collection I never play with.
