. If you can get your gear and finish the content on one character and come back for a 2nd character soon (and a 3rd and a 4th and so on)… that’s how you know game is fun.

This was exactly the case in DF Season 3, which we have data showing people played 3-5 times more characters than any other season in the history of M+.

That should be the model for fun, but instead we are getting things which turn more and more people off the game.

A lot of people do that though. Everyone has a different goals and find different things fun.

Let’s not even get started on how difficult it will be to get into groups if you’re not max ilvl in the first week.

Some people forget that this is supposed to be a game.

This, it was absurdly easy to gear characters in DF S3 and it made the season more fun and incentivized people to play alts

Yep! Exactly this. I was able to push to 24s/25s in Season 3 on my Evoker and actually did alt keys when I wasn’t pushing. I had a lot of fun and hope in the future they’ll be able to make it enjoyable again
