Testing for Mythic The Soul Hunters begins today at 12:00 PDT (15:00 EDT, 21:00 CEST).
Please use this thread for feedback and bug reports regarding this encounter or related issues. Noting the nature of your group (Mythic guild premade, PUG, etc.) is helpful, as are any logs. Thank you to everyone who has come out to help test!
Adarus doesn’t cast Void Step in phase 2, meaning you don’t interact with the debuff to soak pools. Unsure if this is intended or a bug.
having 3 people chained together is miserable
This boss feels like complete mechanic vomit currently. There’s some actual logic behind half of what’s going on but it feels like a whole lot of visual clutter and it makes dealing with the Hunts extremely frustrating at times.
Also, even with a substantial amount of players reducing the damage, the actual Hunt targets are getting annihilated, even though a personal.

I’ll echo the mechanic vomit sentiment, which I felt already from Heroic and mentioned in that thread. I think you can turn down the pacing slightly and make the individual mechanics more threatening and you still preserve the intensity of the encounter.
Currently, the intermissions aren’t even the brunt of the difficulty as I think most people anticipated, but simply soaking Hunt and not slowly bleeding players throughout the fight. It’s also an actual pain to keep the HP of the bosses even with how much they move and the intermissions being completely single-target. The damage done in the intermission needs to be 3x’d and distributed evenly amongst the bosses or some other method if they’re gonna be so helter-skelter.
Also, it would be nice if there was just a gigantic beam over the Fracture tank soaks as they’re pretty important to soak quickly but can be difficult to spot immediately even if you’re looking out for them.
too much jumping around , not fun when your target jumps over you or w/e
generally too many annoying overlaps - boss needs to chill
Heroic Soul Hunters felt good, while Mythic one feels both unnecessarily chaotic thanks to so many frontal abilities, and unnecessarily complex especially on the abuse of Group Soak mechanics across the whole raid tier.
I’d rather this is a third encounter, but it won’t change now, so I don’t know how to make it a less chaotic council fight while meeting the required difficulty.
