This is a welcome change

I hope it scales enough that its a negligible or nice-to-have buff, rather than a mandatory one. Given that its also immediately granted to the party upon entrance basically, it was a bit overpowered.

If it was only available inside the church proper after killing the 2nd boss, I think it would have been fine – Kind of like the versatility buff in Stonevault.

Glad to see the nerf bat being swung indiscriminately. Was desperately needed.

No last boss Floodgate nerfs? The heal checks on that boss are insane even for the highest throughput healers like Disc.

this is backwards. the mobs need to have health. its their dmg that is out of control. timers are going to be meaningless again, and the only thing thats gonna matter is surviving. that is not fun when you get to higher key levels.

no nerfs to the Xav wing in ToP is insane

I was able to run +15s and +16s on PTR just fine, with the exception of Floodgate which I only managed to do +13s. Damage intake in general was fine (except for things like Bubbles, Sludgeface, Venture Co. Masterminds, etc)

The health change is mostly impactful for bosses that have add burn phases like Big MOMMA and Xav. They had so much health that you had to lust Big MOMMA and save cooldowns for the drones instead of the burn phase.

ok, well that sounds good. were you healing by chance?
i was in an 8 motherlode the day it first came on ptr, and the second boss was literally unhealable. the whole dungeon up to that point was sweating to heal, but that second boss was not possible

For the +15 I was dpsing. I’ve tanked as well. I just know that I could use a defensive on basically everything and be totally fine. I’ve also healed some +12s and they felt fine-ish except certain bosses were just raw HPS checks.

2nd boss motherlode is a DPS check fight. They need to pop defensives and also burst the add down as fast as possible, as well as CC/kite the add if they have fixate and not take a bunch of bleed stacks.

Only 10% HP nerf? Really? It needed 20-30% across the board nerf if not more…

Not to mention damage of enemies still through the roof and needs 20-30% nerf as well…

Ya his wing ruins whats otherwise a decent dungeon.

A couple of notes on Cinderbrew Meadery:

  • There’s a lot of aoe in the dungeon that will just kill you again if you die and respawn at the start. It feels atrocious to die, rez and then get stomped by more aoe just as you start running back just to die again. It’s unfair.
  • The damage that the last boss does is ridiculous even without the mechanics and all the dodging that you need to do. I popped Ascendance during Let it Hail and we still had a player die. The whole dungeon feels very hard to heal but the last boss in particular is overwhelming.

Damage of enemies still through the roof and needs a real nerf … i ran a few 10s today and we died quite a few times from bubble and random aoe…

M+ scales infinitely. So this is not a nerf but instead can be read as “All damage dealt by creatures is increased by 10% in Mythic+” because the point that stopped you from pushing was not to kill the mobs intime but how can we survive the damage?

Now that the mobs are dead even faster, it will become a problem of “how can we survive” much earlier and the meta will again be much more narrow as there will be only a very specific composition of classes that is able to survive.

If your problem is not “how can i survive” but instead “how can we be faster” you have so much more options. You can change the route, add skips, change pulls, try to improve your rotation, etc. etc. For survivability there are much less answers to this problem.

Blizzard, please revoke the change but instead do reduce the damage dealt by creatures by 10% instead.

Its past time we get some kind of “queue” for m+, where everyone is kinda similiar io, starts on a random dungeon that is upgrade for everyone. This queue simulator sucks.
