[feedback] M+ revives on WAYPOINT rather than by timer

Friend presented an idea today that I think is really excellent.

Problem Statement: Battle rez charges in M+ dungeons are consistent but not helpful if you’re speeding through a farm key. You get 1 charge at the start and another every 10 minutes. If your key takes 20 minutes, you basically get 2 Battle rezzes for the whole key. That’s kinda lame because your group is killing it.

Solution: Link Battle rez charges to the new waystone system for dungeons. Every time you hit a waystone, you receive an integer number of rez charges based on how far you made it through the instance. (i.e. a smaller dungeon with only 2 waystones may give more than 1 charge when the group gets to it).

I love this idea because (a) it rewards good play and (b) it gives us another reason to play around waystones as an objective in the key!

Why is anyone dying on a speed run through a farm key?

If you’re getting through the dungeon that fast, then you can 4 man most things, just dont waste battle res on DPS.

I like the idea. It has nothing todo with it being a nerf, but it makes the dungeon more deterministic. Like every group fights the endboss with the same number of battle rezzes available until that point.

On the other hand what doesn’t happen anymore in this case is that a BR comes up during a fight. Not sure if i like that or not.
