There are a couple of buffs for MM Hunter, some timing changes, and the critical strike change to Trueshot that was previously announced. They did slow down Explosive Shot so, no more Explosive Shot mid-cast Aimed Shot cheese tactic others noted.
Datamining Class Tuning on 11.1 PTR Build 58999 - Wowhead News

Yes, but they’re reducing the damage bonus slightly on the Precise Shots.
I guess they don’t want to make it too strong.
They still need to redesign True Shot. I know they could do better if they put their minds to it.
I do agree with you. However, this last PTR build was a release candidate so any change to Trueshot may not be possible.
I didn’t see any change to damage, at least in the datamining. It was already 90% when you took the talent.
However, with Aimed Shot now always giving 2 stacks, Precise Shots will for all purposes grant 180% bonus damage unless you get Precise Shots from another source (like the talent that grants it through Rapid Fire).
The overall design was set and unlikely to change much earlier.
The best we can hope for is additional tuning, which may come up through hotfixes until the new season starts.
Edit: Wow, testing Windrunner Quiver and it feels so good. One Aimed Shot makes Precise Shots give 180% bonus damage + grant 2 stacks of Streamline. It also helps to make Trueshot feel better.
Oh, so it was. LOL. Brain fart on my part.

Bummer… I didn’t realize this was a cheese tactic, I thought it was an intentional shatter-combo type implementation and it was fun.

You broke Dire Command, it no longer procs Huntmaster’s Call stacks! FIX IT NOW
We have been giving feedback and bug issues; however, instead of looking for solutions poeple are now accusing all of it on having pets back. Then blaming everyone who asked that they were not lost.
So, instead of talking about the problems, and having a civil conversation about what could be the cause, players are instead attacking others cause there have been no response as to if or when they might be fixed.
The solution to this is to focus on what is the current problems, and stop focusing what is done. Pets have been added back that happened now move past it, and find what has not been solved.

Hello! Updated Issue-List for this mid-week update patch:
- Dark Ranger Issues:
- Shadow Hounds was not updated to reflect the new tooltip. It still does a physical Beast Cleave.
- Damage from your Shadow Hounds do not heal you via Embrace the Shadows.
- Whenever Withering Fire is Active, the buff on your character still says that it fires automatic Black Arrows.
- Consider adding Bloodshed to Withering Fire as a support for 1-minute builds.
- Pack Leader Issues:
- In the original 11.1 Notes, it was noted that Alpha Predator would scale multiplicatively rather than additively. This does not seem to be the case as the 50% increase from Pack Mentality does not gain this benefit, making it effectively only increase damage by 43.5% rather than 50% if talented into Alpha Predator.
- (NEW/ADJUSTED) Lead From the front is supposed to increase the damage of your Howl of the Pack pets by 25% and your pets by 30% according to the tooltip
This currently only buffs the bleed from your Bear by 25% and your normal pets by 15%.
- The Boar secondary target effect hits the main target.
- Slicked Shoes will always reduce the cooldown of Disengage even if it does not remove a movement impairing effect.
- The Season 2 Tier Set issues:
- The 200% increased Barbed Shot can be overwritten by a normal Barbed Shot, which isn’t a bug but feels bad.
- Misc Issues
- The Bloodshed spell tooltip makes no mention of the 20% increased Kill Command damage when specced into Venomous Bite.
- (NEW) Dire Frenzy does not buff Hati/Frenzy by 60% for the additional two seconds of uptime it gives.
- (NEW, IMPORTANT) Dire Command does NOT currently stack Huntsmaster’s call.
- Venomous Bite does not affect Animal Companion.
- Pets will both have their own seperate buff for the Tauren racial “Brawn” and the Dwarf racial “Might of the Mountain”, and inherit the Crit Damage / Healing from the player, making them benefit twice from the effect.
Thank you for reading!

Hello,
There is a regression on the 11.1 PTR latest build:
- Aspect of the hydra once again double-dips in single target, effectively increasing the damage of aimed/rapid fire/arcane by 60% in single target. This was almost fixed in the last PTR patch, and is now back at 100%.

Hi,
I just want to report that I copied a BM hunter to PTR with delves gears at 610 ilvl and she did not even have the Siren Isle ring.
My goal was to test how low level gears will perform in the new delves.
And I used this toon to clear levl 11 delves in PTR with no deaths.
So either the BM spec is having issues or the S1 set bonus is also messed up with the scaling.
Please check.
The PTR scales your gear up or down depending on what tier you run. Even if you were wearing 610 gear, it would scale it up to 658 if you ran a t11.
Thanks for the clarification.

The only people bringing it up are the people blaming the pet for Blizzard not doing the balance adjustments they want on PTR.

Weird, I wasn’t aware subs cost less on MG than other servers.
What do you want the rest of us to do, exactly, chum? Someone posts a big list of crap that’s broken on the PTR and like, what? Am I supposed to go in and debug it? I’m not Blizzard.
All of these bugs plus the ones above it’s no wonder we can’t get meaningful Trueshot buffs.
