Feedback here?

Just to make sure that I don’t post something in the wrong place again is this the correct place for feedback post? I haven’t seen a specific channel for feedback and the in-game feedback section directs to the forums of articles.

Yes sir you are correct this is the place for that. Gl!

General Discussion is probably the best you can hope for outside of ptr forums for stuff still in development. But really it’s more akin to a trashcan that might criticise you.

Are you saying that here is “more akin to a trashcan that might criticize you.”?

Yeah, the general discussion forum. As in, feedback kinda just goes unacknowledged by any official. But those of us who dwell here might also be snarky. Not me though. I’m lovely

I just submit in game feedback mostly.

I have noticed that more and more online folks tend to be a bit more snarky. I’ve also noticed that since Blizzard was bought by Microsoft the company seems to show less and less concern for the subscribers. Still, we try what we can.
Lovely as in you brought coffee lol?

Where is that exactly?

It’s under the support button on the game menu. Should be tabs for reporting a bug and submitting feedback.

Unless they broke something again. lol

Oh, yea. I did that and it took me to a list of articles and to here but gave no other info on where to post feedback. I also said that officials copy the post to use for notes to improve the game though with a few things that I’ve noticed I’m leaning to agree with Magnarok on the comment “feedback kinda just goes unacknowledged by any official”.
after some extensive research that included help from someone who was recently working as a tech supervisor for a major ISP, and has played wow on custom built systems since warcraft, some very interesting things have been discovered about how far acknowledgement goes from the officials. I’m a research junkie, so I find things lol.
I wanted to make sure I had the right place before I posted my findings.

There should have been a box to type in. Wonder if it’s bugged.

I would guess yes to that if not for all the messed up changes that have taken place since Microsoft bought Blizzard, or MicroBlizzSoft as I sometimes jokingly call it.
Since the buyout a lot has been changed. Enough that the original teams that made WOW what it became are no longer with the company and most of the old school (pre-CATA. I started in the last season of CATA) players have gone to classic if not left the game completely

You can post your feed back here but just keep something in mind. Thousands of people put feedback into the forums out of millions of players. That’s less than 1% of the player base.

The real feedback comes every time you log in. They have sensors in the code to detect what all of us are actually doing when we play the game. That’s the best feedback you can give.

For example, they can see that Blood Elfs are the number one race and they can see how what percent of the time each race is playing. And now we have a Blood Elf expansion coming up.

That’s an example of the real feedback being effective.

I’ve been thinking about that. The real trick is not all feedback options will be effective. At the same time all we can do is try.

Even when you’re not playing!

Scary huh?

Why would they care what we are doing when we are not playing? Every time we sign in they know everything players are doing until they sign out. That tells them with 100% accuracy what is and what is not popular in the game.

The forums tell them what less than 1% of the players are complaining about and most often when someone has an idea, someone else doesn’t like it. That information is about as useless as possible.

Seriously Tiffany?

I was almost certain that it was obvious I was joking about.

Are you a robot?

Sorry, I don’t get the joke. She’s a new character in the game, she leads the forces in Hallowfall and she gives out quests in Dornogal every week. I usually take either her World Quests or Delves. She and Anduin seem to hit it off really well mostly due to a similar background.

I also don’t get how robots fit in to what you are saying.

Suddenly everyone is speaking in code.
